Picked a base model now it's Tuesday noon and I hear nothing from them. I call them They say we cant find one. Than nick p says we can get u a lx model but it's more money I say ok but I want it in white nick p says np. We will find u one right away. Now wensday call him noon time no one answered the phone all day of wensday no one returned any calls. So now I start calling other honda dealers within 10 minutes I find a lx in white in oakville and the say it's sold. I ask them if it's going to sterling honda. They say they will get back to me on that one. Now its Thursday nick p calls and says we still can't find one and he was off on Wednesday so that's why no one would call me? Thursday evening someone else calls me and says we found one. I ask where is it they say they don't know? xxx. Friday morning I call nick p he says they found one and they are wating for it but he doesn't know where it is? Hang up the phone one minute later oakville honda calls me and says it's here and is your car and it bin ready to go since Thursday? Call nick p and what do u know he don't pick up as usual. So I leave him a message telling him about oakville honda and I'm not happy. He calls me back and leaves me a message saying it's oakville Hondas falt and it's not there's. xx. Now the sterling honda head manager calls me and says that he's on this and he's in on his day off and his getting the car himself. Go in Friday at 230 and give nick p the plates stickered and ready for transferring and he says the car is there now and it will take until Tuesday till its ready xxx 3 days to get a car ready. Now I'm going to miss 2 days of work do to these clowns and the only person who seam to care or say sorry was the head manager. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. THE WORST SERVICE AND THE WORST DEALERSHIP IN THE WORLD. Will update if the situation get worst or better More
Professional and Thorough Experience From the time I dropped into their Dealership and Mitch introduced himself to the time I purchased my new 2017 Honda Civic Sport I truly feel all my Q From the time I dropped into their Dealership and Mitch introduced himself to the time I purchased my new 2017 Honda Civic Sport I truly feel all my Q&A’s were fulfilled more than I my expectations. This was my first Honda Purchase as I have always been a Dodge Truck Guy. Mitch understood this was not an easy decision for me and I could fell his connect as many salespeople listen but don’t actually hear. This purchase did not happen in a day it took me time to visit other Dealerships to compare different makes and similar models. Mitch took the time to make sure I fully understood all the Benedits and Features of the Honda I narrowed my choice after many test drives at their dealership. This gave me the ammunition to ask Q&A’s with similar models from different Manufacturer’s. Never received the same warm and fuzzy professional feeling and many asked was I ready to purchase today as they were looking over their shoulder for the next person entering the lot. I can assure you Mitch had more knowledge on similar vehicles than reps on their own cars. Mitch never put down another make or model but made sure I new what my Civic offered. I truly feel a Mitch was working for my best interests and also for Steeling. I received my new vehicle within the window as what I wanted had to be ordered. I keep in contact with Mitch and he with me to see how the transition from a big vehicle to a compact is going and answers all my questions as I am not much good on reading manuals. I highly recommend Sterling Honda and not sure I would ever go back to another make of car. More
Don't waste your time Horrible service. Went in to test a CRV touring but after getting my kids buckled into their car seats we are told that we have to sign a waiver and Horrible service. Went in to test a CRV touring but after getting my kids buckled into their car seats we are told that we have to sign a waiver and that they are bringing around another lower model CRV to drive because we aren't allowed to take out the model we are wanting (and our kids are already in)! Then, as we are moving the car seats into the other CRV a different salesman approaches me and demands the keys to the CRV Touring, like I'm trying to steal them. As we are about to leave the guy we are dealing with reminds us that (as per the waiver) as long as we bring the car back by 4, we'll be "all good" - because if you aren't back by that time, they report the car as stolen. I have been on many test drives with other dealerships in my search for a new car and have not been treated so rudely. I felt like I was being treated like a criminal. I will not be buying a car there and would not recommend this dealership to anyone. More
Best Experience Ever! So my mom and sister both leased two new civics from Sterling Honda last week. They wouldn't stop talking about how great the sales guy was. They talked about how warm and friendly he was with them and they didn't feel the anxiety of the car buying process with him. My personal car was racking up kilometers and I knew I wanted to get rid of it soon so I decided to meet Helal myself. He's such an awesome person. Great personality and you feel like he's being genuinely honest with you. He really took his time with each of us and right then and there he showed me how EASY it is to get myself into a Honda. The car speaks for itself so I'm not going to go into much detail with that but mostly my experience with Helal and the dealership. He really took his time, showed us around the dealership and basically showed me how to use the car so I didn't have to read a manual or watch a youtube video on it's features. He made sure I was 100% comfortable with the deal and I didn't feel like I was being pressured or pushed into anything like I was made to feel at other dealerships in Hamilton. I was made to feel like there would be an ongoing customer relationship with him and it wasn't just a one time contact type thing where he would sell me the car and then disappear. This relationship makes me want to stay in a Honda after my lease is up just because of the personal contact. The car is so far so great and I haven't had any issues (although it's just been a day lol). But I know if anything comes up I can call my sales guy to guide me. Thank you Helal & Sterling Honda! BTW Honda warranty PLUS is worthless piece of paper so DO NOT buy it! In reality You will have to pay for warranty cover repairs anyway. They always have a tricky reason for charging You -for example -Your warranty says that Your electrical sensors are covered by the warranty -in reality if Your check engine light goes on and Sterling Honda technician will tell You that oxygen sensor should be replace -do not think that is going to be covered by Your Honda Plus warranty because after closer inspection the technician will tell You that they can cover only electrical problem of the sensor and in YOUR case there is a MECHANICAL defect!!! Dont go there over the weekend! Even with an appoitment! I got some number to go home and study! and booked an appointment for 3 pm Saturday. He was busy with other customers, barely made eye contact, they let me test drve it on my own (nice! But what if I also had some questions!) and I left at 4:30 cuz nobody wanted to know why Im waitng there. Lol. The guy at the front desk said he is going to call me and explain. Never happened. More
Crooks/Beware 04 civic 90 000km. Goes in for a stabilizer link comes out with $3000 bill. New drive belt ,ball joints,water pump etc.etc. etc. If car needs all that 04 civic 90 000km. But we know they are good cars but dealers like Sterling should be avoided.Didn't offer the parts back. Took advantage of a old women your service department values need to be adjusted. More
Dishonest service and very bad customer relationships I was a loyal customer for 30 years however this changed in dec 2016 when I had my car in for service. I was having battery problems and documented wh I was a loyal customer for 30 years however this changed in dec 2016 when I had my car in for service. I was having battery problems and documented what was happening. Took all of this in to service department was was told the next day that my battery (which was only 7 months old and purchased from sterling) was fine. I asked if they could start my car and double check before I came to pick up. I was assured that this had happened and when I made the journey over I found out that the car battery was dead again. At this point they sold me a new battery and when a different mechanic went to install it he asked me what was happening with the car. I told me the exact same story and he quickly said that it was not the battery was was a problem with the air conditioner. I was told that I still needed to purchase the battery. I did and left. Fern from service called my house and offered a $125 dollar voucher for my next service. There was no other call from sterling and they were told that I would no longer be a client. I would never again use sterling Honda and feel that they are extremely dishonest More
