I had a bunch of issues that required service and I made the mistake of going to the other VW dealer in Winnipeg. I then proceeded to St. James VW and undoubtedly received the best service experience in my 30 years of driving. They were able to diagnose and repair all issues in a timely fashion. They took amazing care of my car and I would specifically like to thank the following people: Kyle (service manager)- He treated me like royalty and understood my frustrations with some recurring issues which the other VW dealership in Winnipeg could not figure out. Kyle is a standup guy, a professional, and the best service manager I have ever dealt with. Thank you Kyle. Ron (service adviser)- Ron looked after all of my concerns and kept me in the loop the entire time. Thank you Ron. Sam (master tech)- Sam was able to diagnose all of my issues and repaired them. He truly knows his cars and even spent time at night researching issues on my VW. He is so passionate about what he does. Thank you Sam. Again, they are fantastic at St. James VW and I wish I could go beyond 5 stars because this team deserves 10 stars! Thanks for all of your help St James VW...you just earned a customer for life! Sales support without match. I was referred to St James Volkswagen and specifically to Guy Delisle. I was looking for a new or used (newer, low KM) VW Beetle. Guy was exceptiona I was referred to St James Volkswagen and specifically to Guy Delisle. I was looking for a new or used (newer, low KM) VW Beetle. Guy was exceptionally helpful and noted he would try to find a newer used Beetle for me if required and provided excellent assistance in showing me the 2017 Beetle Classic. I loved the Beetle, but wasn’t a huge fan of the Classic trim. So we looked for a Dune trim version and Guy arranged for one locally and searched nationally for one in my preferred colour. As shipping in the gold Dune would be quite expensive I went with the locally available white. It is awesome! Guy provided a straight forward and no BS attitude/approach. He helped me find what I wanted, ensured it was what I was looking for and arranged for fair price for the new Beetle and for a very fair price for my trade in. The Delivery Coordinator, Nick Assuras, walked me through all the features of the vehicle before I took possession and made sure I was aware of all the great features. He explained the service recommendations very thoroughly. He also noted that if I had any questions in the future I could contact him for help. The financial person, Brendan Parry, provided excellent support and service in finding the right payment plan for me, as well as arranging the most favourable interest rate available. Although not normally a purchaser of additional warranty, Brendan provided a great description of what VW has available and in the end I did increase my warranty to cover my payment period. The dealership also added in floor mats, something I have always had to purchase from every other dealer I have ever dealt with.
