UPDATE**** IT HAS BEEN 1 YEAR AND 9 MONTHS!!! Our vehicle is still not fix and undriveable. Now that the warranty is over, Kia Red Deer says we need a new engine. Kia Canada says we have lifetime warranty be is still not fix and undriveable. Now that the warranty is over, Kia Red Deer says we need a new engine. Kia Canada says we have lifetime warranty because of the knock sensor (this is the issue of the Kias starting on fire and KILLING PEOPLE). Red Deer Kia still says we do not have warranty, even with us recording every conversation with them and Kia Canada. There is a class action that is finally settled for these issues which also INCLUDES LIFETIME WARRANTY and Kia Red Deer is still doing nothing. For that, I am now adding the names of the service advisors and GM that are absolutely useless. Do NOT recommend! We have owned our vehicle for 7 months. Of those 7 months we have only been able to drive it for 3 weeks combined! In and out of service for months, bad communication and won't hand over paperwork when asked repeatedley. PLEASE look up "Kia engine issues" and see all of the reviews, forums and news stories before you decide to purchase.. And then just do not purchase. We were told twice we were going to get a new engine, and told twice way later that they changed their minds and our vehicle is fine. Our vehicle is NOT FINE. It loses power at highway speeds which iw not safe for my family and I will not drive it with my newborn baby in it!! I did not add names as I'm sure it's Kia Canada not letting them replace our engine under warranty. More
2 years ago if you asked me to write this I would have told you every bad thing I could about Kia Red deer but have they changed now I want to tell you everything good about Kia Red deer I walked in there told you every bad thing I could about Kia Red deer but have they changed now I want to tell you everything good about Kia Red deer I walked in there 2 days ago looking for a car knew what I wanted and what I could afford and they gave me exactly that there was no hidden fees there was no lying or sneaking around they were honest they were true they respected me as a single female going in there and it was an amazing experience I highly recommend anybody that is looking to buy a car to go and ask for Ethan he's an amazing young sales person that is going to go far in this business he did an amazing job and got me exactly what I was asking for from the minute I got the phone call to signing the papers and driving away with my car I am a happy happy customer and I'm blown away by how Kia redder has turned around they are an amazing group of people More

We paid for a "lifetime of no additional oil change charges". Now they introduced a fee and claimed they were reducing the service fees for regular services to make up for the charge. That was NEVER the contract. Simply stated, They can't be trusted. Secondly I was told on Dec. 12, 2019 that they had a cheque in the mail to pay back the fee I was charged. It is now January 14, 2020 and there has been no sign of any cheque. Allowing for Christmas rush, or month end accounting, Three Hills is less than one hour from Red Deer. More

After being accepted for the credit he told me that the price of the truck had changed to 43199.00. wow really not professional. A chance I have pictures of everything he wrote to me and the picture posted on the web. I will send everything to Amvic and the owner because I do not think he knows. He will have other people who will explain to him the laws of Canada. The seller gave me a good service except that the company did not respect these commitments. I lost my time for a lack of professionalism. More

Those services and replacements cost me over $2500. I didn`t do it. I checked with a different mechanic about all those things that Red Deer KIA Dealer recommended. I was told That`s a rip off. Also that the repairs suggested are not immediately needed.. I declined this service and went to a different place, because they didn`t have convenient appointments that I could go to. When I went back to KIA they told me a lug nut was broken and I need a new one. They blamed the defect on the previous person who looked at it. I Trusted them and went back a week after to install the new lug nut. The lug nut cost is only $5, but they charged me $168 for the labor and miscellaneous. I am told that this is a very easy procedure and was completed very quickly. I felt like I didn't receive good customer service in this instance. More

Savage Dealership Did not have a positive experience here. Four days after purchasing a second hand vehicle, I experienced transmission issues (revving 5000, not going Did not have a positive experience here. Four days after purchasing a second hand vehicle, I experienced transmission issues (revving 5000, not going over 30km). I took the vehicle in, they were willing to take a look/“fix” it. First of all, I was frustrated that my four day old vehicle was having problems, despite reviewing a detailed AMVIC report, test driving, and etc. prior to purchasing. There was also a huge lack of communication on their end. If you have my vehicle for two weeks, at least give me a call to update me a couple of times, and call me when it’s “ready”, but nope. When I went to pick up the “fixed” vehicle, the service department had purchased me 120 month warranty (definitely softened me up). I then went to the vehicle, all the lights on the dash were still on, as when I brought it in (I don’t even think they looked at it during those two weeks). So again, I had to leave the vehicle with them to “fix”. About 1 week after, I received a phone call from the company the warranty was purchased through, they had some questions. Long story short, the service department told the warranty company I put on 11,000 km since I bought the vehicle (umm how?! I had it for 4 days, more like 11km), they also acted as me when purchasing the warranty, and they were trying to scam the warranty company into covering a transmission replacement, a pre-existing condition prior to purchasing the warranty. The warranty company warned me of red flags, which I appreciated and had a hunch about. Obviously, Kia didn’t receive approval from the warranty company to replace the transmission, and sounds like there is legal follow-up to occur. The sales side of the dealership was good (partially because I received my money back in full), the service department and its staff on the other hand... I would avoid. Overall, very negative experience. I would not recommend Kia Motors Red Deer. More
