Great experience. Mike Nguyen from the sales team was great throughout the entire process. Upsale! ! that's all we heard from OTHER car companies we visited. Until we walked into Toyota and met Carl Butler. He wanted to know what we needed and what ! that's all we heard from OTHER car companies we visited. Until we walked into Toyota and met Carl Butler. He wanted to know what we needed and what we'd like to have for bonus features. He understood we had two young children and a top of the line vehicle would not work with our finances. He let us test drive a Rav4 and we were sold immediately. It drove amazingly smooth and had plenty of room for my two growing boys. Carl made everything seemless and even brought our car seat out to the Rav4 for the test drive. I work customer service and this little act of carrying a heavy car seat does not seem like a lot but to me it went above and beyond his duty. I wish my workplace had more Carl's. He kept me updated with texts, emails and phone calls and we truly felt like part of the family. I also want to give a shout out to David in finance. I may have pestered him with emails about questions I forgot to ask during our visit but he was kind enough to answer everyone and more. He spoke to us as humans and explained everything so we could understand the financial lingo. after a long day car shopping, my youngest had enough and David let him keep a watchful eye on David's "pet". This made my kiddo feel important and like he was apart of the buying transactions. We are very glad we made the last min decision to stop in to Toyota! More
Over promised and under Delivered My wife and I met Ryan Hubley from Toyota Halifax on Oct 23/2022 in Windsor while attending the Pumpkin Patch. We had a conversation .in which I indicated that I n met Ryan Hubley from Toyota Halifax on Oct 23/2022 in Windsor while attending the Pumpkin Patch. We had a conversation .in which I indicated that I need to look for a vehicle ASAP because I was in a accident and the rental car needs to be returned on Wednesday Nov 2 . Ryan indicated that he had 2 in mind, but one just needs to get check out, for it was bought on a trade and might have to go in for the recondition process. I asked Ryan will anyone else see this car, he commented that no there is 2 keys in in which he shows me one and the other was in the service department. Ryan asks me for a price range, and I mentioned 25000.00 or close to it . He mentioned that this shouldn't be a issue all he needs to do is run it through the GM for his sale manger is too busy. On Friday Oct 28,2022, I went in to meet Ryan and he showed me a Red 2018 Toyota RAV 4 in the upper parking lot and said he will try to get this in first thing on Saturday am or try to get it for me as is. and send me a price but don't buy another car because I will make this work for you, and I can save you some Money. I touched base with Ryan Saturday, and he said it didn't get in but will have a price by 12noon Monday Oct 31. I called on Monday around 1:30 because I had a bank appointment at 230 to buy this car . Ryan indicated the GM is too busy but will interrupt him to get the final figure. At 2:10 Ryan called and said someone had put a 500-dollar deposit on the vehicle on Friday and nobody told him about it. But tells me he will continue looking and I said are you serious. I have been around this industry a long time and this experience is one to remember . Everyone, this experience to me is totally unacceptable on many different levels. 1. All Ryan had to do is tell me earlier in the week that this couldn't meet my price range 2. There is a lot of excuses in the conversation 3. This left me with 24 hours to find a vehicle for the rental must be retuned on Wed. 4. Where is the customer Service 5. There was never any apology and all that was said was I know your upset. I am not looking for anything in returned but hopefully someone else doesn't have to experience this ordeal with over promised and Underdeliver. All my conversations are saved and can be view at any time. However, I just needed to bring this to your guy's attention and for it is total disappointment , I contacted the GM and here is his response Thanks for contacting me, Paul. This is very important to me. Ryan shared this with me this afternoon. I agree this was completely mishandled and not in line with how we do business at our store. I told him so today and expressed that his approach had good intentions but a recipe for disappointments. I will get someone else to call you and help you if you grant us to do so.
