Made it right! We went to mainland Ford to look at purchasing a used truck. We had researched 1/2 tonne pick ups and realized that the F150 had the most room for us We went to mainland Ford to look at purchasing a used truck. We had researched 1/2 tonne pick ups and realized that the F150 had the most room for us as a young family with two young boys. We were met by Jessica, new to Mainland Ford and found her to be friendly and helpful. While they had no trucks currently that were with low km's and in the 2007-2008 range, she committed to trying to find one that would meet our needs. As luck would have it, and discussing it with her fellow employees, there was a truck that may be coming up for sale in the near future. However, the truck was said to be a 2005, but did have the low kilometres given the age. We expressed interest if the seller decided he was trading it in. Jessica kept in communication and let us know that the truck was indeed coming available and brought it in. It was in good shape as we expected and with some negotiation with Bob, the new owner of the dealership, about a hitch we wanted replaced, we agreed to purchase it. A few days later, we confirmed the price and came prepared to sign the papers and purchase the truck. However, during the insuring of our new truck, the ICBC agent confirmed we were insuring a 2004 F150 truck. We of course said that there was a mistake, our truck was a 2005. A look at the documentation again made it clear that the truck was a year older then we were made aware of. We quickly sought out Jessica about the issue and expressed our disappointment in not being made aware of the mistake. She was most apologetic and believed we had been made aware of the mistake. We confirmed we hadn't. She stated she would talk to Bob first thing in the morning to figure out how to rectify the situation. We left feeling really upset about what had transpired. As promised, early in the morning, Bob phoned right away apologizing profusely for the error made by the dealership. He immeaditely offered to take the vehicle and give us back our cheque. He had talked to all parties involved about miscommunications that led to the purchase of the truck. Ultimately, we recognized that an honest mistake had been made and that the dealership was taking full responsibility. The truck was still a great truck for the price. We were offered additional compensation and they bought the tonneau cover on it that we didn't need for probably more then we could sell used. All in all, we were treated very well and would recommend this dealership to our friends and family. More

Dream Team!! I was in a tough situation I was paying a fortune in Payments and Interest for a Car I didn't even want anymore :S I had a rough past that started wi I was in a tough situation I was paying a fortune in Payments and Interest for a Car I didn't even want anymore :S I had a rough past that started with me loosing my Job and soon after everything else as a result I lost my Credit and had to start from the ground up. I just strolled into Mainland Ford to look at some cars knowing there was no way I could get into one and Karan came over to me and we started to chat. I told him my situation and he assured me anything was possible he then took time to understand the type of vehicle I wanted with the options I wanted and went right to it. because of my past it took the whole team at Mainland Ford to get me sorted out but none of them gave up and in the end I drove away in a 2015 Ford Fusion SE!!!!!!! I said goodbye to high interest and high payments and now I'm living the dream thanks to Mainland Ford :). if you don't go here for your next purchase your not actually serious about buying. no pressure sales staff excellent finance team and management. the whole team is like one big family and they bring you into that family as soon as you walk onto the lot. I cant wait to go back for me next purchase!! thanks Mainland Ford your rock!!! Great teamwork I had come from Bowen Island to seal a deal and had three people working hard to be sure I drove away that day in my new car.
