UNPROFESSIONAL Sales Person and VERY UPSETTING EXPERIENCE! When we walked into the dealership, 3 different people told us the next person will help us, until finally the sales person named Gary came over to he When we walked into the dealership, 3 different people told us the next person will help us, until finally the sales person named Gary came over to help us look at a vehicle. It took 15-20 minutes for him to find us the vehicle that we were specifically requesting to see. Then, when we finally managed to test drive the car, we were asked to stop by the gas station to get fuel. From the beginning, this sales person was completely unprofessional. He was constantly making negative remarks about everything, calling things "stupid", etc. Being the first time we've gone to a dealership to look for a new car, it was a horrible experience. Gary knew this was the first time we've also looked for a brand new car and he did not make it easy for us. The drive test for the car went well, however, because we actually liked the car and wanted to get financing. When we finally got to the financing part, we had to waste another 15 minutes waiting for him to setup and he couldn't see his screen due to sun glare from the windows. He had to switch to another computer and he still couldn't see what he was doing. The whole time, he just looked frustrated and tired. When one of us had to use the washroom, Gary started discussing the whole financing portion before the other person came back, leaving them with no information. One of us were asking Gary to give us the final price of the vehicle and if he could do anything to make it fit within our budget, as we really wanted the vehicle. He said, he wouldn't be able to tell us the final price with any adjustments on his end until he knows if we are for sure buying the vehicle. How can anyone make a final decision based on that!? We didn't know the final price and he wasn't willing to help us at all. He even constantly said that he could make adjustments but he also said, "if I have to go to my boss and get my nose bloodied, I better be doing it because you're going to get the car"! This was a lot of pressure he put on us to buy the car when we didn't even know the price. After again asking for the final price and what kind of adjustments he could make, he suddenly lost his temper and just said "I think we're done here!". This was the first and worst experience at a dealership. My family and I are NEVER going to KIA again. We ended up going down the street to the Subaru dealership and had an amazing experience from a sales person who did not hassle us and had complete confidence in the vehicle he's selling. In my opinion, Gary was very poor with conflict management and did not even try to do the best he could to sell the car to us. VERY DISAPPOINTING! More

This was supposed to be a research exercise to learn about Kia ... and most likely remove it from the list. Then, Frank Caruso ruined all of our finely made plans. We were replacing an older SUV and Frank had us test drive a couple of Sorentos, with a Sportage in-between. We now own a Kia Sorento. Frank, and Richard both made the experience easy, and as they say, the rest is history. Great car, great dealership and pain free process. The way it should be. Thanks Kia of Hamilton. More
