Extremely Dissapointing I have been nothing but unsatisfied with Guelph Hyundai. The man who sold me my car was a typical car salesman- all talk. He made me feel as though this was such a great decision to purchase a car from Guelph Hyundai, of course, because he wanted to sell it to me. He also made it seem as though they really care about customer service, as well as taking care of their car buyers even after the purchase. This has not been my experience at all, and it makes me sick to think about what I've had to go through in dealing with these careless and heartless people. Buyer beware- the Service department is a huge let down, and even after I spoke face-to-face with the service Manager, he assured me he would get to the bottom of what happened and give me a call. I received no phone call. Their parts guy, (I believe his name to be Tony), was nothing but downright rude to me for no reason at all, to the point where I left feeling completely embarrassed. I don't know how they can employ someone like this, and this wasn't my first dealing with this man. I would not recommend purchasing a car from Guelph Hyundai, due to the mistreatment I've faced. As a young woman, I already feel anxious taking my car to be serviced and the experiences I had at this location have not only made this worse for me, it has made me realize that I will not be buying my next vehicle from Guelph Hyundai. More

Honest Service today I came to realize that the Guelph Hyundai Service department truly doesn't fall under the stereotype we all have heard "Dealership's are rip off today I came to realize that the Guelph Hyundai Service department truly doesn't fall under the stereotype we all have heard "Dealership's are rip offs for service" Guelph Hyundai yesterday proved that theory wrong! While I had number of services booked for my vehicle upon arrival I asked the simple question, "Do I really need all these"? And to my surprise the staff took the time to explain the services and during our conversation it came to light that I didn't need to have them done based on my long term goals for the vehicle. Thanks Guelph Hyundai for being honest and not pushing for a cash grab! More
Appt times I heard a noise coming from the back of my car so I took it in. The "fix it" appt was pretty quick too. I'm glad they have free wifi, it makes the waiting times go by alot faster too. More

Always expensive we have a 2014 santa fe and have been doing the services at the dealership. Having owned multiple new cars over the years I've always tried to maintai we have a 2014 santa fe and have been doing the services at the dealership. Having owned multiple new cars over the years I've always tried to maintain them at the dealership at least until the warranty runs out. However it seems that I can't get out of this dealership (which I'm sure is the same for all Hyundai dealerships) for less than $300 or $400 each visit. We only have 24,000km on our vehicle and it seems the service requirements may be over kill or a money grab. The last time we were in they charged us $100 in labor to change a cabin air filter. they said they follow the service times provided by Hyundai Canada (whether it takes them that long or not) and then the guy told me he agreed and felt that was a little high to change that filter but that it was out of his control. A manager called me back later and while he was nice, he was sticking to the time as per the "book". Yesterday we took it in for what we thought would be an oil change and were told it was time for our $300 brake service (my wife was told this in advance when she booked the oil change). Every 12 months apparently the brakes need to be serviced. Again having owned many new vehicles I've always found that dealerships will replace brakes as needed and inspect them once and awhile as part of service (usually at very little cost). The brakes are likely only going to last 2 years (all city driving) so I certainly don't want to pay $300 every year to service them in between replacing them. Is this really going to make them last any longer? I'm not sold and refused the service. I will take it to my local mechanic and see what they say. We also had our "complimentary" car detailing completed. They refer to it as "complimentary" but really I paid $500 for a book of coupons when I bought the truck so its not "complimentary". We were extremely disappointed with the cleaning. They didn't vacuum the back of the truck at all (which was emptied out as we assumed it would be done). We have the third row seating so its a big flat area when the seats are down. We found garbage from our kids still stuck in the door storage areas, they didn't make any attempted to wipe down the extremely dirty door sills and jams. When I bought the coupon book the sales guy told us it was a full detail that you would pay $120 for normally. It was cleaned to the same level as the $60 car wash on Gordon Street (where they do the doors sills and trunk). If I paid $120 for that I'd be demanding a refund. I asked for a copy of the service requirements and think I will have the vehicle serviced else where from now on. More
