He knew us before we even got in the store, it was very nice meeting with him, he was very helpful and patient beings i had a 2 year old running around everywhere. The thing i liked about Derek was that he was honest with me and didnt beat around the bush like most of the sales people i have dealt with in the past. I really enjoyed dealing with Derek for my purchase, and to finish off the deal i dealt with Derek Mcleod for financing, he was a very nice guy, and quick and efficient...just da way i like it, he had everything ready to go...and last but not least Alexandra Brayne, she explained the dealership to me, which was nice, she also took the time to show my wife everything about the Bluetooth Handsfree stuff and hooked up her phone, she explained everything in depth but also in a very timely manner, very nice lady.. So all in all, to be honest this is the first dodge i have ever purchased ( I've always been a ford guy) haha, sorry! But honestly this was the best experience i have had at a dealership ever (no joke) and if i can convince my wife down the road that its a neccesity for me to have a jeep wrangler then i will definately be contacting Derek or Josh to see if we can work a deal!!! More

I came in pretty upset because of how low my oil leve was and I thought something major was wrong. Wanda treated me like I was the most important customer, she assured me my car would be looked at right away and if anything major needed to be done she would book it in ASAP. I was very impressed with the kindness professionalism and willingness to make my problem hers and take care of my car!!! Thank you so much Wanda Breti you made my day!!! Poor Service - dont care to hear/fix customer issues After my last visit April 20, 2015 with Eastside Dodge I swore I would never deal with them again. Unfortunately, I had to call them again today to in After my last visit April 20, 2015 with Eastside Dodge I swore I would never deal with them again. Unfortunately, I had to call them again today to inquire about the warranty on tires I purchased from them. The warranty on the tires I purchased from Eastside Dodge are for 110,000 Kilometer which is the Manufacturer's Treadwear Limited Warranty. I have only put approx 52,000 km on my tires. I was advised by Kal Tire when I brought my tire in for repair that I needed new tires.. When I inquired with Bob Gifford the Service Manager at Eastside about the tire warranty he basically advised me to go to Kal Tire and deal with them since it was Kal Tire who advised me my tires were rated as LF and RF at a 4-32nds and the RR and LR at a 2-32nds. Bob claims the tire manufacturer will NOT replace a tire under warranty as a result of regular wear. Are you kidding me Bob? Isn't that what their 110,000 Kilometer Manufacturer's Treadwear Limited Warranty is for? Here was Bob Gifford reply to me: "Based on your description of tire wear it would appear that you do need new tires. Unfortunately, the tire manufacturer will not replace a tire under warranty as a result of regular wear. Since you have gone to Kal Tire, who position themselves as “tire experts”, they may be able to direct you further to the tire manufacturer as to any warrantable coverage." On April 20, 2015 Eastside claimed to have done a 45 Piece of Mind Inspection and charged me 34.95 when the previous time I was only charged 19.95. I did not ask them to do a POM Inspection which I questioned. Bob's reply was "due to the current promotional offering, it was $5 cheaper to charge you for that then to charge you a brake inspection and you would have received more value because it offers a more thorough vehicle inspection and includes the brake inspection as well." When I asked to see the POM Inspection Report as there wasn't one left in my car, they were unable to provide one for me. I decided to take my vehicle to another mechanic 8 days later to check on the larger items they told me I needed. Eastside told me I needed some brake work done at 3x the cost of another mechanic and I found out that Eastside did not detect work that seemed to be required. My new mechanic advised me I needed a serpentine belt, hose and water pump asap...you know the basic things that require a vehicle to function properly. Don't you think if a POM inspection was done at Eastside these items would have been noted on the POM Inspection Report and also that I needed new tires? I don't believe these people even did a POM Inspection. I would definately not recommend dealing with Eastside Dodge based on my experience. I received very poor customer service by the overall Service Staff, the Service Manager, Bob Gifford and all the way to the top... General Manager, Mike McManes and Owner, Jim McManes. They do not feel the need to reply to customer complaints and to satisfy customers.. More
