He was very easy to talk to and treated me with respect and honesty. He treated me like an important visitor and offered me coffee or another beverage as soon as I arrived. He listened carefully to my requests and did not try to convince me to buy anything else. I would recommend Marlon and his sales manager, Narin Fons, to anyone wishing to purchase a vehicle. They are both outstanding gentlemen. I had an unusual circumstance as I was in an accident with my trade-in before I picked up my new vehicle. The General Manager, Brent Walker, assured me that they would repair my damaged vehicle and I was given my brand new Journey to drive home in, no strings attached. Everyone I came into contact with, including the receptionist and other sales personnel, greeted me, remembered me, and offered their assistance. This company rates 10 out of 10. . More

We had walked away from a few lots because that is pushed hard. Until I want to test drive something that's when I was okay with giving some of my personal information. Scott is very pleasant and knowledgeable about what I was looking for. He went above and beyond to get me what I believe to be a "Smokin Great Deal". More

Then I was involved in a hit-and-run accident, and our car was totalled. Very sad, and time to sort through the insurance hurdles and find a new vehicle. We kept checking the advertisements on various sites (Auto Trader, Kijiji, etc) and another 2011 Mazda 3 appeared, at East Side Dodge. The price seemed very fair, and we came to have a look. just prior to coming, I phoned the dealership and talked to Ray Kassam. He checked the inventory and held it until we could come the next day. We arrived the next day and met Ray, who was friendly and helpful right from the start. The test drive went fine, and then the conversation that we were dreading a bit started. We explained the hit-and-run, how the previous car was bought with a loan, and that we weren't sure of the process from this point. Insurance company had been helpful, but this was uncharted territory for us. Ray was calm and helpful, came across as sincerely interested in helping us obtain the car, and shared a couple of details that we may not have been aware of from the insurance company. Through the entire process, Ray was helpful. We were texting back and forth, as a couple of questions came up, and Ray was very responsive to our needs. We wouldn't hesitate to work with him in the future when the time comes to obtain another vehicle! More

He guaranteed Even though I didn't end up buying the used car (my own preference), I thought my experience with Rahim was so positive and trustworthy. He guaranteed me a real refundable deposit (which is not common with many dealerships), he answered all my very specific questions about a Subaru (keep in mind, this is a Dodge dealership, so it had to look up a lot of my questions), and he was a pleasure to work with. I would go here again and work with Rahim. He should be employee of the month! More

In addition our service engine light was popping on and off. We called East Side Dodge to get a quote on front brakes, but we weren't exactly sure if there was any other issues going on (service engine light). We were told that they were having an $89.95 85 point inspection deal, and would be able to tell us everything that was going on following that inspection. East Side Dodge called us following the inspection, and recommended approximately $4,000 worth of work, majority of the items that were recommended had been done by the previous owner at 100,000km, but we were told because East Side Dodge didn't have record of the service being done at their dealership they were recommending it. We agreed to the front brakes, pads and rotors be replaced, rear rotors machined due to rust as per East Side Dodge, and rear brakes/pads serviced. In addition we were told that the service engine light was a result of us needing our system upgraded ($149.95), so we agreed to this. Karen at East Side Dodge also recommended that we perform an e brake service, but provided no reason why, and we declined. The work was completed on August 11th, and we picked up the truck that evening. Total bill was $1,106.59. I couldn't believe that after spending $1,106.59 we picked up a dirty truck, no wash at all after spending that kind of money. On Friday we drove to the grocery store with the windows down, and there was a loud screeching coming from the rear of the truck. Assuming that the truck had to be driven around a little more following the work just completed, we decided to drive it out to Airdrie on Sunday. Again, same screeching, would get louder as speed increased. We dropped it off as soon as we got back into Calgary on August 14th. Karen called on August 15th, asking us "How far did we drive the truck?", "When did you first hear the noise?", "Could we have possibly got a rock stuck?". We told her to drive the truck and there would be no doubt that she wouldn't be able to hear the noise. She called back and said that East Side Dodge couldn't hear the noise, and that she drove it into the service bay that morning and couldn't hear the noise. We told her to drive the truck along 36th Street, pick up speed, and drive with the windows down, she shouldn't be able to miss it. Karen then called back and said that we needed to have an ebrake adjustment/service, and that they recommended this service on August 11th. Yes, absolutely you recommended this service, but along with the other $2,500 of recommendations that wasn't needed, we declined. She also failed to mention that if we were to get the brake work/rotors done, we NEED to have the ebrake work done. Had she said if you get part a, you absolutely need to get part b, otherwise your truck will sound awful, we would have absolutely agreed. We were now told that they would give us a deal on this service for $99.95 + shop fees and tax. We agreed, because we had no choice. We picked up the truck on the evening of August 15th ($119.64), and low and behold the engine light was back on. Was it on when they were performing the ebrake adjustment, and just didn't mention? The engine light that we had just paid to have looked at, and was told that our system needed to be updated. Needless to say we were livid. I called Karen's personal voicemail at 9:19pm on August 15th regarding the engine light, and I have yet to receive a call back, it is now August 22nd. A service that should have already been resolved back on August 11th. I borrowed a coworkers code reader and ran my truck, only to find out that the code was a small evap leak, possibly due to my gas cap. After checking my gas cap I found a split in the seal, replaced the gas cap, and now the engine light is off. East Side Dodge made no mention of this code, or any other codes except that our system needed updating. Was this even the case? In addition, our front driver tow mirror glass was broken. Karen told us that to replace the mirror would be $130, but because the mirror isn't OEM they couldn't do it. On August 20th we took our truck to the TruckOutfitters, who didn't have the part, and then we went to Big 4 Dodge, who kindly replaced our OEM mirror (as stated by them) for $60, a $70 price point difference from East Side Dodge. Multiple times while talking on the phone to Karen she covered the phone to yell at service technicians, as they were talking to her and trying to give us information that she was relaying, at the same time that I was speaking, completely unprofessional. I wonder if East Side Dodge were to cut out the middle man information would flow to customers more accurately, and effectively. East Side Dodge is the only place we have taken our Dodge to for oil changes since purchase, as that is all that has been required to date, however that will no longer happen. This is the last time we will ever take our truck, or any other vehicle for that matter, to East Side Dodge service. More
