Untrained Service Advisors and Incomplete & Slow Service Many of the Service Advisors are inexperienced and very slow at their job. I have had to take my 2016 in twice for the same issue - they did not check that everything was working properly after they repaired my power tailgate. Part department never gives you a call back. I've ordered and paid for a touch-up pen for my car about two weeks ago. They said they will call me back as soon as they get it. But since I haven I've ordered and paid for a touch-up pen for my car about two weeks ago. They said they will call me back as soon as they get it. But since I haven't heard anything from them, I called them back to check what's going on with my order. Then they said "Oh we have it. Come pick it up anytime." with no apology for not calling me back.(I was waiting for the word. LOL) Yup. I guess they don't care since they got the money? Or because it's just a $15 pen? I'm so disappointed. I've purchased two cars (both Toyota Rav4) from them. But now I'm about to lose my loyalty. More

Picked up new 4runner and had my 07 Explorer front end fixed We just picked up a new 2016 4 runner for my wife and left Mendez Motors my 2007 Explorer to fix the front end (rods, ball joints, tie rods). Continuing Great Service I bought a new Yaris in 2009 from Mendes Toyota, and inteact with the staff regularly when I take my car in for maitenance, etc. . Constant overcharging for repairs not needed I have been buying cars from Mendes for over 15 years and I was very satisfied with the services they were offering. But I agree with some of the other reviewers, I have also noticed a tremendous increase in the amount of "recommendations" since they moved to their new building.
