Proud Owner of a new Mazda 3 I am writing this because I am very happy and excited about my purchase of a new Mazda 3 and want to recognize the guys at Bank Street Mazda for makin I am writing this because I am very happy and excited about my purchase of a new Mazda 3 and want to recognize the guys at Bank Street Mazda for making the decision one that was quick and harmless and I am feeling no regrets. Tosh was very helpful right from the start, he took me and my wife through all the great features of the new Mazda 3, I told him I was not interested in anything too fancy, he never tried to upsell me to features I did not need. Although, I had rented a couple of Mazda 3's in the last few years, he insisted we take it for a quick test drive, which only added to the service. He knew that we were working with a budget since we are a young family and tried his best to get us as much as he could to work with us. Kevin was the business/finance manager who took over our financing application and final sign off, and he did even more to get us the coverage we wanted and still work within our budget. If anyone is looking for a Mazda in the Ottawa area, or any car for that matter, I would tell them to definitely go to Bank Street Mazda before they make up their minds. Thanks guys. More

Everything was great... then came post-lease My initial experience with this dealership and these individuals was rather positive. The leasing experience was effortless and less pressured than other dealerships in the city. I made a deal and leased a vehicle. That is where everything changed. The minute I rolled off the lot, I fell into a black hole. First, I did not receive a copy of my lease. This was not provided to me the day I left the lot and did not come. 8 months later and multiple phone calls, an uncountable number of emails, and empty promises, I still did not receive a copy of my lease. My salesman (Sunny) wouldn't even reply to my emails. The finance manager (Michael), did not respond to phone calls or emails until one day I had a promise that my lease would be sent the following day. A month later this still hadn't been sent. With a follow-up as to why there was no answer, nothing but silence. FINALLY after insisting that a manager become involved, I received a prompt response from Kirk Cameron along with a copy of my lease (gee good to know the conditions of my lease 9 months after driving off the lot!). Kirk apologized briefly for the service issue and promised to look into it further. I was satisfied with this response until I told Kirk that I would be happy to provide details as to what happened over the period of time where I could not get so much as a call or email returned. You can guess what happened. Mr. Cameron disappeared too. Obviously this response with the copy of my lease was a generic answer to get me to go away. I am not one of those customers to leave the lot and immediately fill out a review (as they would like you to do). Take your time and give it 6-12 months. My experience changed and I will not continue my relationship with this dealership beyond the expiry of my lease. It is really too bad that the staff cannot be bothered with customers after the fact. This dealership puts on a great face in the beginning and really tries to portray a certain image. Its too bad it falls apart the second you drive off the lot. A simple apology from those involved and a promise to do better would have gone a long way. More

Poor service and incomplete information My friend purchased a Mazda 3 last week and suggested I visit the dealership. Although the selection of used and new cars was good, she is still waiti My friend purchased a Mazda 3 last week and suggested I visit the dealership. Although the selection of used and new cars was good, she is still waiting to hear about when her car will arrive and did not receive any bonus for the referral. Once I found a car I wanted to purchase, I was given many payment options, without actually being provided with the price of the car, even after multiple requests for the price. After putting a deposit down to secure the car, I found it on their website for a lower price than what my payments work out to be. After calling the salesperson back, they changed the price again, and informed me that extras that I thought I was getting for free, I was actually paying for. When I asked for the breakdown of how the price and payments were calculated I was not given the breakdown. When I went back to the dealership the next day to finish the sale, I was provided with yet another price for the car and an even higher interest rate, which was not at all comparable to other dealerships or other rates listed on their website. I tried to discuss this with the sales manager, but they refused to negotiate the interest rate and repeated many times that the dealership has NO control over interest rates. When I was finally provided with the details regarding the breakdown of the cost of the car, there were also several admin fees added without prior explanation. After realizing that this is not a dealership I would like to enter into a long-term relationship with, I asked for my money back from my deposit. The sales manager told me that it would be mailed to me in 2 weeks, even though I paid by credit card the day prior. All in all, if you'd like to know what you're paying for, it will be a very negative car buying experience!!! More
