Dealer not interested in fixing issue nor willing to do what's right. Please review online blogs before purchasing an Acura vehicle; especially from this dealer. Post-purchase customer support is non-existent. Acura certification process is not real and a fake statement to justify the premium being charged by the dealer. My certified vehicle had a number of issues, right off the lot, that could've easily been picked up through a simple inspection let alone a comprehensive certification process. Almost got into a fatal accident resulting from a loss of control of the car due to vibration and a loss of power. I had 3 other individuals in the car. In speaking with the General Sales Manager (John Huynh), our safety was not a "priority" for him that day. Sales were it seems. More

In a few weeks, I got another flat tire, again went to have it repaired. This happened again and again, spent a lots of money but never have the problem fixed!!!! It is the rim problem, nothing to do with the tire.... It is a shame such thing happens at this dealership! More
You will see their real face after they are done with you I leased an Acura and everything was fine and calm. At first service, I found out lots of misinformation that I have been told. When I complained the I leased an Acura and everything was fine and calm. At first service, I found out lots of misinformation that I have been told. When I complained they were impolite and irresponsible. Sales manager ( Peter ) was the most impolite and irresponsible person. I told him about my complaint and his answer was maybe your car is defective and it is not related to me. I regret leasing a car from this dealership and actually I think I will never go for Acura again. More

Acura of North Toronto is an absolutely horrible dealership that has treated me terribly since I leased a vehicle from them a month ago. The actual leasing of this vehicle was a disaster and I believe they gave us the wrong car. It wasn't even the same colour as the one we leased. And the guy who leased us the car was fired before we even got our car. I tried to notify Acura Canada of these issues multiple times and they never returned my emails or called. This is all well documented. Then a bunch of lights when off on the dashboard last week and the air conditioning wouldn't work. As a vehicle that is only a month old, we figured it was all covered under warranty. The service centre actually told us they believed that someone broke through our fog light and cut a bunch of wires. They said the work to fix it would cost us $3,000! That is an absolutely ridiculous story and an insane amount of money to fix a one-month old car! We refused to pay it and asked for them to just give us back the car. Our car was returned with the fog light damaged, which it wasn't when we brought the car in. And now a bunch of additional lights are going off on our dashboard! We now have the car, unfixed. I'm going to try the Better Business Bureau to see if they can help me first. If they can't help me, I'm going to the police. Do not go to this dealership!!! More

I paid $1,000 for the "Pre-Certified" service thinking that I would get a vehicle that had undergone a thorough mechanical inspection and that had been fully reconditioned. As soon as I had the vehicle I felt pulsing in the brakes and I heard the tell-tale "thump thump" when braking that indicates a bad brake rotor. I took it to my local mechanic and they test drove it and diagnosed the faulty rotor. I went back to Acura North Toronto and they kept the car for almost two weeks yet did nothing to fix the brake issue. They said they could not see any issues. The issue persisted and I complained again and brought it back a few weeks later and they finally machined the rotors. This did not resolve the issue so I finally brought it to Downtown Acura and they found the following issues in just a few hours: front brakes need both rotors replaced. $505.00 rear brakes need new rotors and new pads $595.00 front drivers side windshield wiper is broken rear brake light bulb was out So much for my pre-certified used car. This whole process at Acura North Toronto seemed like a complete sham. This is the only service facility that I have come across in years that still machines the brake rotors. Everyone else will replace them as it guarantees a better job but somehow Acura of North Toronto would rather machine brake rotors with 65,000 km on them instead of replacing them. I really, really regret coming here. The time wasted and the frustration has been awful. They spent no time or effort to recondition the car and I have zero confidence in this dealership at this point. They also did not register my warranty with Acura Canada until I followed up again for the 3rd time 2 months later. They kept saying the information was in the mail. How often do they do this and do they pocket the money I paid for the warranty if no one notices? The finance manager also tried to push me into one of those electronic rust inhibitors for a lot of money and told me any type of other rust protection would void the warranty ( a common lie and high pressure tactic). Stay away, read the other reviews here and on Google. I wish I had done so. There are much better Acura dealerships out there. More
Huge waste of time, no respect for customers Absolute waste of precious time. This dealership is way out of my way, but in this instance they called ME to book a free multi point inspection. I Absolute waste of precious time. This dealership is way out of my way, but in this instance they called ME to book a free multi point inspection. I figured sure, why not and at the same time I could have my snow tires put on and pay for that. So I confirmed the appointment for 5:30 pm weeks in advance. I battle rush hour traffic to get there from PICKERING and when I get there they say the techs only work until 4pm and they can't service my car and they don't know who would have booked the appointment. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. 2.5 hours of wasted time driving around in rain and rush hour traffic for nothing. Take my advice and NEVER SET FOOT IN THIS DEALERSHIP FOR ANY REASON. More

It took them more than 4 hours to determine that TCU and tailgate opener need to be replaced, a ten minutes job. Moh said the parts will be ordered and scheduled another appointment for the following week. During the week I got a phone call to confirm my appointment. Due to my availability, I asked them to postpone it in one week. The next week, again a phone call to confirm my appointment. This time, I assured them that I will be coming for sure. When I arrived, Moh informed me that the parts were never ordered and I need come back another day. Absolutely unacceptable and disrespectful. More

Just perfect! There are dealerships where you wouldn't go back and there are dealerships that make your day. Acura of North Toronto will not only make your day, I'm There are dealerships where you wouldn't go back and there are dealerships that make your day. Acura of North Toronto will not only make your day, I'm sure they'll keep you coming back. This dealership has perfected the experience of buying a vehicle. The care and attention of the staff here is second to none. We already knew the vehicle model and price we wanted. Peter Kim ( (Pre-owned sales manager) was quick to greet us and assign Eric Cheung (sales & leasing consultant) to assist us. It's always a bonus when you get to work with a smart, knowledgeable sales consultant like Eric. During our discussions with Eric it became obvious Eric not only knows his cars, he has that gift of making you feel so very comfortable with the process. He listens to your objectives and provides no pressure, no dickering, quick options for you. Eric will even program your phone for the blue tooth and help set up the techy things some of us struggle with. To top it off Peter Kim wastes no time getting the deal done. We didn't expect to get our vehicle for the price we got it for based on the model and very low mileage but Peter helped crunch the numbers to meet our goal. Peter comes across as a very approachable, straight shooting, honest manager. He doesn't waste your time and is very open with the details of the deal. And Peter takes a special interest in making sure your vehicle is just perfect before you receive it. Eva Chai (Financial services manager) provides and explains all the extra options available to you with no pressure. Eva's friendly manner and great smile sets a very comfortable no pressure tone. She provides you the details you need to know but the decisions are yours. Another very comfortable experience with a great staff member. I would recommend this dealership to anyone. With a Team like we've experienced I expect they will be around for a long time. More
