Work in progress Initially I had a posted a review expressing my dismay for the service I received at the dealership whilst searching for a pre-owned vehicle. To sum i Initially I had a posted a review expressing my dismay for the service I received at the dealership whilst searching for a pre-owned vehicle. To sum it up - I had gone in on three separate occasions looking for a vehicle, provided details to the same person each time, who didn't remember me from one time to the next, and had a feeling of overall disinterest and disregard for me as a potential customer. After much time wasting and no follow up from the individual, I resolved I would never do business with this dealership again and managed to find a vehicle privately. Upon reading my review which detailed the frustrations I had encountered, I was promptly contacted by the GM Rob Reaveley so we could discuss the matter further. After a lengthy conversation going over precisely what had happened, Rob thanked me for the feedback, apologised, and promised that Abbotsford VW does take customer's comments and needs seriously. He then went on to say that with what I provided for information, they could then better train their employees so that situations like this do not occur again. Although he conceded it wasn't an excuse, unfortunately for my situation they were running short for management and the individual I was dealing with was trying to fill in for two other staff member's roles. I somehow fell through the cracks. After speaking with Rob, I also received a call from the sales manager, Jason, once again apologising for the experience I had, reitirating that my feedback will be utlilised so that they can better train their employees on the follow up and care of potential customers wants and needs. Through the conversations, I feel that the situation was appropriately resolved and handled by both Rob and Jason. They seemed both genuinely concerned and shocked for the experience I had, and were willing to go above and beyond so that I felt secure in coming back as a potential customer. I can say that my trust has been regained so that I am willing to come back to the dealership for both my future servicing and purchasing needs. More
