2001 Ferrari 550 Barchetta

This 2001 Ferrari 550 is #30 of just 448 Barchetta Pininfarina roadsters that were produced to celebrate the 70th anniversary of design house Pininfarina. The current owner is a prominent Ferrari enthusiast here in CA and meticulous about the vehicles in his collection. This 550 Barchetta has just had a major service prior to being offered for sale with us. The service was performed by Ferrari Los Angeles, our sister store. Finished in Rosso Corsa over beige leather upholstery, and power comes from a 5.5-liter V12 mated to a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Features include multi-piece 18â Speedline wheels, enamel Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, leather-trimmed roll hoops, carbon-fiber bucket seats and interior trim, a Ferrari-Becker stereo with a trunk-mounted CD changer, and Tubi echaust. This 550 Barchetta Pininfarina has just over 11k miles and is now offered on dealer consignment with factory books, two keys, three remotes including red remote, a clean Carfax report and a clean title. The Barchetta Pininfarina debuted at the 2000 Paris Motor Show. Compared to the contemporary 550 Maranello coupe, it featured a more aggressively raked windshield, shortened A-pillars, added roll hoops, and an elongated rear section. A prominent V12 for any collection with low production numbers, a V12 open top and gated shift....surly not one to be duplicated by Ferrari in the near future, if ever.
