Seller's Comments

This 1972 Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne is a pickup with a cool true vintage appearance. And as you look closer, this long bed pickup has the right extras - including V8 power like cold-blowing A/C - to be a comfortable workman-style ride.

The light blue with a white roof is a great color combo that works well on these classic C10s. The trim tag tells us this is the factory-correct presentation, and it has been allowed to show its age. So while we don't have the full history, everyone who lays eyes on it will just assume you got to finally take grandpa's pickup out of the barn and off the farm. That makes for an awesome real truck feeling. And this ready-to-work attitude is also seen on the long bed which gives you more space than others have to haul the Home Depot load in one trip. And the real secret to the appeal is in the details. The chrome bumpers have a nice radiance; the white wheels coordinate with the roof; and the Cheyenne's premium full-length trim helps to highlight how well the panels fit.

The interior is a full blue presentation that follows the exterior's theme of matured vintage appeal. It starts with the bench seat that has Chevy's iconic western pattern. Plus, the door panels have the classic wood applique inserts and the floor mat has the look of something like the dealer would install. It's almost like a time capsule, right down to details like the working dome light and Delco AM radio that's still cranking tunes. In fact, the largest upgrade is not one you see, but instead, one you feel - the factory air conditioning is now blowing cold with modern R134a refrigerant. The steering wheel is the classic Chevy sports unit, and the gauges have the clean look of newer pieces.

Under the hood is an honest vintage-style setup of a 350 cubic inch V8. In fact, this is the year-correct block. It's a strong running motor that inhales deeply with a Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with a sweet sound out of a newer dual exhaust. 1972 C10s are really sought-after because this was the final year for the trailing arm rear suspension, which helps make these Chevys ride much smoother than most other vintage pickups. Plus, there are more comfort features, including the smooth-shifting three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and front discs.

Complete with a partial buildsheet, this has the right classic look, classic features, and proper V8 power to deliver all you want in true classic C10. Don't let this one slip away, call today!
