Funny thing: the individuals I worked with were personable and competent. Sales representative Scott Durso did an excellent job of working with me as I tried various cars over the course of 6 weeks personable and competent. Sales representative Scott Durso did an excellent job of working with me as I tried various cars over the course of 6 weeks or so. He was patient and did not push hard to make a sale. I would definitely work with him again, and recommend him. The finance guy was good, explaining the various forms, and giving me time to digest them. And the cashier was competent and pleasant. The internet side of things was more aggressive. When I set up an appointment with Scott, I'd get a text and email reminders, asking me to confirm. Why both? If I confirm via text, why follow up with an email with the same message? The process of closing the deal and paying for the car was very time-consuming, with a lot of time spend waiting in the showroom while things happened behind closed doors. It took nearly two hours to negotiate the deal, most of that time spent waiting at a desk while management behind the scenes did... things. I did a lot of waiting. Eventually, the deal was negotiated and paperwork signed. I would wait until the model I wanted was delivered, and then take delivery. The internet department was back, asking me (in Scott's name) how I liked the car and if I could rate the dealership. I didn't have the car yet, but they wanted to know. Again, this was annoying. I had to wait a few days for the model I wanted to be delivered. Once I drove it and confirmed it was what I was ready to take delivery on, there was the matter of paying for it. That took nearly 3 hours. It seemed that the back office wasn't ready, or was backlogged. I just know I spent the majority of the time sitting, waiting. A dealership fix is needed. More staff, perhaps? Once the deal was fully done, we tried to get HondaLink working, but it wouldn't allow me to log on. Something about Apple CarPlay interference on the lot. And I was told later that 50% of the salesman's bonus was contingent on my logging into the three-month-free HondaLink subscription service. That seemed inappropriate. I did log on when I got home. Still, it was not a pleasant part of the experience. Another dealership fix is needed. One thing that seems clear is that DCH Honda is understaffed. Their sales team needs more support, both from the back office, and in other respects. When my wife bought a Subaru, there was a staff person (not the sales person) assigned to make sure she understood the various features of the car when she took delivery. DCH could use such a person. Scott worked with me some to get me acclimated, but he could have used some staff support. When I got the car home, I realized that the etching I'd paid for hadn't been done. I took the car back and got it done. They were very good about it - while I waited. Still, it doesn't bode well for our relationship going forward. In sum, I would definitely recommend Scott Durso as a sales rep. I don't feel as good about the dealership, which I'll be depending on for service for the foreseeable future. We'll see. More

Solid cars, standard dealership but clean and good customer service is important. They treat you with respect and make the process pretty smooth with minimal surprises. customer service is important. They treat you with respect and make the process pretty smooth with minimal surprises. More

They sold me a used vehicle with a pretty bad damage to the front passenger wheel without admitting it. They told me it had been in an accident, but that there was “no damage” to the car. It was raining wh the front passenger wheel without admitting it. They told me it had been in an accident, but that there was “no damage” to the car. It was raining when I picked it up, so I didn’t catch the damage, but also trusted the dealership to disclose something like that. I called the day after, still haven’t heard back. More
