Howard was absolutely the reason we stayed to purchase our forester. While the car was amazing once we sat down and drove it around, I never would have gotten to that point had it not been for our connect our forester. We are first time Subaru owners and we were not seeing them as a first choice, but not having to deal with the traditional "vulture" style of salesman convinced me to keep looking into this brand. He was not pushy at all, but you can tell that he stood behind the Subaru product and described all of the great safety features of the car. The negotiation process was simple, smooth, comfortable, and they ended up just under what I was targeting. Now, I did take advantage of some of the coverages and extended warranty since this vehicle might end up being our daughters one day. After driving the car, I was so impressed with how comfortable and grounded the car felt on the road.
