I went on Monday, after being told electric issue, and explained I purchased an extended warranty upon purchase of the vehicle, and it would cover all electrical problems. They (understandably) explained they needed to call the warranty department before they proceeded to repair l, so I went home, sent warranty information, and got no response. On Tuesday I called before 11 to get an update because I had yet to hear anything, and the female representative told me they were working on my vehicle, it needed a road test, and I should be contacted in an hour. After 3 hours passed, I again reached out, when I was told my warranty did not in fact cover the repair, because it was the battery. I was quoted a price of 400 dollars, which seems like a lot for a battery repair. I inquired with my warranty provider to see if they would at least cover the diagnostic testing, when I then learned that (according to them) contrary to what I was told, Jim Ellis Chevrolet did not initiate contact with the company until an hour prior, which completely contradicts what I was told in my initial phone call that morning. They also said they would potentially have covered the testing of the dealer had called before performing, which is what I was told would happen. This entire experience has been exhausting. I spoke with Brandon (service manager) on Wednesday around noon, and he offered to call the warranty company personally, after his afternoon meeting. I can’t speak on if he actually did that or not( but I can confirm that I have not heard from his him since, which I would have expected. I was also promised a call back from the General Manager on Wednesday, but that also didn’t happen, I personally wouldn’t recommend, based on the lack of communication alone. More

Out of stock Took my car in for tire repair. Tire had to be replaced and was not in stock. Lack of parts availability has been a recurring problem at Jim Ellis. I Took my car in for tire repair.
