I was a down and out, no extra funds and my current car falling apart. Max and Micheal pulled me out of that very scary predicament in driving an unsafe vehicle to making me feel safe on the road again. M falling apart. Max even followed me home to retrieve the title to my old car instead of me driving another hour back and forth. I tried to buy a new Highlander in January 2025, but the dealership had nothing to offer. The salesman told me to look online and made no further effort to help me with a new car purchase. I later attempted to sell my 2019 Highlander to Phillips Toyota in August 2025 and stuck a deal with Manager Tim Moore after he examined the vehicle. He told me to bring it in the next day before 11 am in order to get a check that day. I told him it was a digital registration with the state of Florida, and he indicated that was even better. The next morning, when Tim was not present, the dealership tried to charge me $80 for the digital title because that was supposedly what the state charged. I reluctantly accepted the new , discounted amount. But after signing all the appropriate documentation, including a title transfer for the electronic registration and a power of attorney to complete the transaction, Tony Viero refused to give me a check for the purchase. He claimed he could not issue a check until they had the title, and no time frame was established as to when I would get paid. He was rude and insulting. I asked for my signed documents back and did not sell the car to them. After confirming with the DMV that the documentation I signed was sufficient for dealer transfer, I sold the elsewhere. The title cost $10, not $80, I have dealt with Phillips-Toyota for 10 years, but no more. More

Recently, I encountered a situation that I had never experienced w Toyota. It was a conversation with a service call. I decided not to engage and take it up with my Tech. Also, discussed it with my offspring, who now happens to be employed there. She too said she would discuss w her superiors. Needless to say, I've been in business w 2 dealerships f over 20 years one in NY and Phillps, it's where I continue to do business. I am a satisfied customer. So much so, that I suggested my offspring should work there. More

worse dealership ever. . Salesman was not up front with us about what exact vehicle accessories the vehicle i prepurchased would come with after telling us what the vehicle . Salesman was not up front with us about what exact vehicle accessories the vehicle i prepurchased would come with after telling us what the vehicle came with while walking thru the parking lot and once i realized the items we were told would be on the vehicle were not going to be on we shopped elsewhere found the car we were looking for and this dealership has refused to give me back my deposit... simply BAD business practice... ALSO the charging about MSRP is ABSURD! Not to mention charging me a PREMIUM for items such as 4 years of maintenance, 5 years of roadside assistance etc etc meanwhile its already included into the MSRP (toyoguard platinum). JUST NASTY BUSINESS!! I DONT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY HERE LET ALONE SHOP HERE! More

Special thank you to receptionist, Eva Marie, as she answered my calls promptly, and was on top of whether my salesman, AJ Borgnis was available, or with a customer. Eva reassured me AJ would return my call promptly when available, and AJ always called back. Eva Marie has many salespersons to keep track of and I found her abilities to be amazing. My wife & I paid cash for our car; as such, Finance Manager, Michael Harvey had all our paperwork ready for us to sign on a state of the art touch flat screen laptop, similar to an IPad Pro but much much larger. Leadership of an organization will take on the personality of its top leader; as such, Phillips Toyota can take extreme pride in General Manager, Tony Viero. We have purchased several new vehicles over the years and the process is typically dreadful. That was not the case at Phillips.
