Tommy was fount of knowledge and very friendly. No hard push or sleezy sales tactics here! Went to bat for me and successfully got me the deal I needed to make my purchase happen. I discovered a pretty substantial issue with the car 15 minutes after signing all the paperwork and driving away. I was terrified I was up a creek... The floor manager looked at the situation and IMMEDIATELY assured me it would be taken care of. TLC to the max!! More

I was searching for a vehicle online when I came upon a car that checked all the boxes for me. I saw that it was at a Dean Team location so I assumed that it was at Dean Team Subaru since the car was a 202 car that checked all the boxes for me. I saw that it was at a Dean Team location so I assumed that it was at Dean Team Subaru since the car was a 2023 Subaru Crosstrek. I put in my information and a desire to get in touch and it was not long before Tommy gave me a call. Turns out the vehicle was at Dean Team Hyundai Genesis. Tommy and I talked for a while and he assured me he could get me the deal I wanted, so I went in for a test drive. He had the car ready to go so I went on the test drive and loved the car! Tommy and the Team made the purchasing experience easy and enjoyable. He even got me some trade in value for my less than desirable older high mileage Jeep. When I told my family about buying my new car and where I got it my sister said "Dean Team Hyundai in Ballwin? I love those guys, I bought 2 cars there!" It was a good buying experience, I would highly recommend them. More

Normally the process of purchasing a vehicle is not an experience you look forward to but our experience working with Tommy and The Dean Team was very positive. Tommy was patient with my wife as she want experience you look forward to but our experience working with Tommy and The Dean Team was very positive. Tommy was patient with my wife as she wanted to look at and test drive several vehicles. He was more than accommodating, answered all of our questions and was very honest through the whole process. Bought a used car here. I had it picked out and came ready to buy with $2000 down. The salesman seemed nice at first but both him and the finance guy turned sour when I refu I had it picked out and came ready to buy with $2000 down. The salesman seemed nice at first but both him and the finance guy turned sour when I refused to buy their useless and overpriced warranties. Especially the finance guy who also forgot to include all the necessary paperwork in the packet they mailed me three weeks later. Typical of people who only work on commission and do the bare minimum to get by in their jobs. I don’t keep cars long and am always looking for a dealership that treats all customers nicely and with respect. Dean Team Hyundai is definitely not that dealer. If I didn’t really want the car I went to buy I would have walked out. I’ve walked out of dealerships twice in the 20 or so times I’ve purchased a car and I’m glad I did it on both occasions. I bought my previous car from Carvana just to avoid dealing with jokers just like the two I had to deal with at Dean Team Hyundai. I will say this. I had to go to their Volvo dealer up the street to get my paperwork issue resolved and the lady from the office was extremely apologetic and friendly. That’s right, the lady who works on a salary, the one who gets paid whether I buy a car or not was the nicest of the three. I have no idea where I’ll buy my next car but I’m pretty sure my next car is going to be an Alfa Romeo so my choice of dealerships will be limited. I may go back to Carvana if they have one I can’t live without. As far as the car I bought from Dean Scream it’s a Lexus so it’s well built and reliable but not as much fun to drive as a my European cars that I’ve owned. If you buy a warranty on a Lexus with less than 40,000 miles on it you’re throwing your money away. They know that and that’s one of the reasons the profit margin on those warranties is so outrageous. I had a wonderful salesman at Lou Fusz Toyota but he retired. I’ve also had good luck with Bommarito. Bottom line is don’t get your heart set on one particular car that way you can walk out of the dealership if you feel so inclined. Also don’t buy a real luxury car from a dealership slinging cheap Korean cars. More
