My story with Royal Moore GMC goes back a few months to January 3rd, 2025. My intent walking into the dealership was to JUST check out a truck in person that I had been researching online. I met a nice you January 3rd, 2025. My intent walking into the dealership was to JUST check out a truck in person that I had been researching online. I met a nice young lady named Lexya and we took a '24 Canyon out for a drive. I was sold… well ALMOST sold. I had some things to sell to make room for a new truck. Over the following several weeks, Lexya moved on and Tim moved in. Our conversations over text followed a typical pattern, Tim: “Hey Michael I'm super excited to get you into this new GMC Canyon!" Me: "Hey Tim, so am I but first I have to sell such and such car and then such and such car and then I'll actually have money to talk!" Three months later... Tim patiently dealing my embarrassingly terrible skills at selling my cars, we finally arrive at the moment where everything clicked into place. Cars sold, money in the bank and ready to pick up my new 2025 Canyon! During this time, there no pressure or frustration from Tim - he was as excited for me as I was for moving into a new truck. He kept me "warm" with video reminders that, "Hey, Tim here… STILL here! Waiting for you to sell that ________ and that ________." I appreciated Tim's gentle tenacity and patience.. I guess we were BOTH practicing patience. So, here we are THREE MONTHS LATER and the happily ever after to this story is I get the truck I need, Tim gets the commission he's been working on for THREE MONTHS (do the math and it probably comes to 25 cents per hour).. Sorry Tim. But thanks for the laughs and conversation and the patience. You're a good dude and Royal Moore is a cool place to buy a new truck. More
