I recently purchased a new car from Regal. I went in there on a Friday and they advised they would take my old car as a trade in and with the cost of the new car, tax, title and fees I would b I went in there on a Friday and they advised they would take my old car as a trade in and with the cost of the new car, tax, title and fees I would be out the door for an additional $18k. After signing papers, sending the car to be cleaned, emptying my old car they come back and tell me it would be $21k. I was upset and left. After coming home and speaking to them they said they would go down to $20500.00. I went back the next day and chose another vehicle that was more with my trade in, so $23k. I drove the car home on Saturday after paying in full. Monday morning I called them to see if I could change the color of the vehicle. They said yes, I went there on Tuesday and spent several hours there again. I hadn’t driven the car other than driving home and back to the dealership. They advised me that I could change the color of the car and it wouldn’t be a fee. And that they would deliver the vehicle to my residence the next day. I went to work on Wednesday and rearranged my day to be there and received a call that they would deliver the car for an additional cost of $3k. At which time I was furious. The salesmen and management at the dealership are not honest. They pass you around to each person and blame the previous one for unfulfilled promises and deals. I will never recommend them to anyone. That same week I bought my wife a new car from Jenkins Nissan with no issues, no lies, no schemes, just a simple transaction. When people say car dealerships and salesman rip you off they are referring to Regal Honda. I would leave a 0 start rating if I could. More
