Ron, the Service Mgr, and Kelly, his service rep, expedited the second diagnosis of the noises my Jeep Compass was making. The 2nd diagnosis was MiUCH better than the initial one. I was on the phone with Buick support for nearly 30 minutes to make sure my repair of my purge valve was covered under warranty. They made it seem like it was so I took my car out of another car shop i minutes to make sure my repair of my purge valve was covered under warranty. They made it seem like it was so I took my car out of another car shop it was already in to get it repaired here. Taylor, was the service representative I got at Spitzer was nice, but made this experience very poor. First she texted me that it actually wasn’t under warranty, then texted again that it actually was and I would only be paying $550 for the key fob I also needed and an issue with the connector they later found, then for a third time texted the purge valve actually wasn’t under warranty. So even after the 10% discount they gave for the hassle I ended up paying between $953 vs the $550 I was told after all the miscommunication. Mind you I took my car out of a shop that was going to charge a little over $400 for all of this (minus the fob) because I thought all this would be covered under warranty at the Buick dealership. I felt at that point I could not trust or get a solid answer from the team there. I also had to rush to shift my work schedule to get there because she told me I could only pick up my car until 5:15pm, only to find out from a different representative that I had until 7:30pm to pick it up and didn’t have to rush after already shifting everything around. The whole experience felt like the service department of the dealership was not organized, reliable, or had their communication together. All I really want at this point is a detailed copy of my warranty to know when I should take it into a Buick shop for repair so I can avoid this situation in the future. More

My company has been a long time customer of Axelrod and now Spitzer. We bought several GMC trucks from Brett Leak and had them serviced there. We are a 99 year old family business and prefer to deal wit now Spitzer. We bought several GMC trucks from Brett Leak and had them serviced there. We are a 99 year old family business and prefer to deal with other family businesses, like Axelrod and Spitzer, whenever possible. I've also brought my Escalade to you for service. While I'm very satisfied with your service desk team and the services performed, candidly I'm very disappointed with your recent service polices and related charges. We brought in a vehicle we bought from you to service an electrical problem. Your tech found we needed to replace 2 corroded battery cables. And gave us an estimate of over $550 to replace them which we approved. The service was performed and we picked up the truck, however when we received the invoice you had added another $195 for the techs fuxedcrate time to give us the estimate We are long time real-estate developers and managers. Our experience In all of our other similar relationships, is that if we go ahead with the work estimated, that the estimate includes the inspection gratis in the price.
