As a life-long Ford customer and proud former Ford employee, the service experience at Colonial Ford was by far the most unprofessional and unsatisfactory I've ever seen. My 2013 Lincoln MKX was held employee, the service experience at Colonial Ford was by far the most unprofessional and unsatisfactory I've ever seen. My 2013 Lincoln MKX was held by Ford for over a week with ZERO communication, a repair bill that didn't fix the simple problem and in the end...still a problem. No action. The Service Advisor was seldom around so I ended up talking to ALL three Advisors, none of whom knew what was happening. And worst of all, even the Service Manager, Rob was involved promised a call...and completely failed to deliver. I finally just took the car back...with the Service Manager hiding in the garage. If you want TOTAL lack of communication, poor results and unprofessional dealer management, I recommend Colonial Ford. And incidentally...I wouldn't BUY from them either (I've bought more than 20 Fords!)...fearing Sales is as unprofessional as service. An update 8/31 to the above review: Since Colonial Ford either wasn't interested in making the effort or wasn't capable of fixing the problem, I took the Lincoln to a local independent repair shop. They took my car in the same day, took me for a test ride, diagnosed the problem IMMEDIATELY, had the part delivered in 15 minutes and literally completely and totally fixed the suspension noise in one hour while I waited! The mechanic took me for a final ride to prove the fix. Now THAT was service and skill...something missing during all my visits and waits at Colonial Ford. More
