I have had the opportunity to work here at my family's dealership since I was 11 years old! I had the opportunity to serve a 2 year mission in Cebu, Philippines. I graduated from ASU in 2007. I have an awesome family with a great wife and 5 awesome kids! I love my job and I hope to create an atmosphere where you would want to keep coming back! We are not after one sale, and instead want to create a raving fan of our dealership! Thank you for considering our family business!

Thank you for sharing your experience from your point of view. Here is what happened. Sergei came into our family business on a Tuesday drove the truck with my Cousin Kyle (I Steven was not the salesman) offered a price of $3277 off of our asking price. We are not able to offer that big of a discount off of any car especially an easy seller like the 2011 Toyota Tacoma that you were interested in. You came up on your offer by $500, we are still $2777 below our asking price at this point with the standing offer. Sergei leaves our dealership and does not have any deal worked out. Comes back on a Thursday. Asks to have the car pulled up so he can bring it to his mechanic (Kyle is on a family vacation) I over hear my co-worker Ryan asking if he had worked out the numbers yet. He said no he had not but he knew what he was going to pay. At this point I have to note that we are unlike any dealer around. I think about Sergei from the perspective of how I would want to be treated. I know mechanic inspections are not free. I didn't feel the need to have him spend his money on an inspection when we don't have an agreed to price if the car passes the inspection. The goal was not to stop him from bringing the car to a mechanic, but to be on the same page so that when you come back from the mechanic you have realistic expectations of our price. So you can decide before the inspection if this car passes this is what I have to pay and I am happy to pay it, if it passes. He wasn't happy with the pricing and almost left. The whole time he still thinks my goal was to stop the inspection as if there was something to hide on a 30k mile Toyota Tacoma. He decides to stick around and bring it to his mechanic. Before he leaves I ask him if he had been informed about the trucks history. He said he was but didn't fully understand it. I said I will grab you the Paperwork from Toyota so that you can show it to your mechanic. This paperwork states that the car is Manufacturer buyback under the California Lemon Law for squeaky rear brakes. Toyota fixed the problem and we bought it from Toyota of America after they fixed it by cleaning the rear drums. He left and had the truck inspected. When he got back he didn't want to deal with me anymore (Maybe he didn't like the price?). He wanted to speak to a Manager. I was the only Manager here that day because of two family members of mine on Family Vacations and my other brother who handles Titles just had a baby so he was helping out with more important matters at home! He had two concerns from the inspection. One of them had to do with tires being old and the other was a $155 leak that needed to be fixed. He never once said fix these two items and I will buy the truck. He insisted multiple times to talk to a manager. He then asks me who my boss was. I informed him that it was my Dad Warren. He asked to talk to him. I informed him that he rarely comes into our lot. He asks for his email (I gave it to him). While all of this was going I am thinking what can I help you accomplish? He then asks to see the Title. I informed him that my Brother who just had a baby has the Titles and will be back the following week if he would like to come see it then. I informed him that we provide free Carfax reports on our website and it states what will show up on the title there. I am sorry that you had a bad experience with me. My approach from the beginning to the end (while covering for my Cousin while he was on vacation) was one of trying to treat you the way that I would want to be treated. I did feel like we were not communicating very well. I also set clear expectations of what we would sell the truck for. From their it is a decision that only you can make buy it or pass. I would have loved to help you purchase this Tacoma. The truck has a factory warranty for 12 months or 12,000 miles from Toyota. We sell a lot of Manufacturer buybacks. They are such a great car that I own one myself for my family to drive and I have full coverage Insurance. Sincerely Steven LeSueur 480-389-3631.
