Excellent service! I purchased a used non Subaru vehicle off of their lot on 1/14/19. Robert Duran took such great care of us and treated us like family. Everyone we came into contact with was friendly and we could not have asked for a better experience. Even Jean in the service department has been great in handling the work order for my new car! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an easy car buying experience. More

Never felt pressure just informative, walked out with info on the vehicles we were interested in. Then went to the auto show at thanksgiving. Finalized either cross trek or forester, we are looking for a car for our teen driver. I kept looking at the inventory available, once the one with all the features we wanted was available I reached out to the internet team. Super easy experience, like the price heads in to make sure she really wanted the blue one. Robert was awesome! Had the car ready for us waiting. We test drove. Were unsure about the color - was it blue, was it grey. He suggested taking it under the lights by the service center, he brought over other cars with different features and colors so we could compare. Still not sure if premium or limited was what we wanted..... he looked at inventory coming in and was very patient. Once we decided for sure it was late and we hadn’t eaten dinner. We asked if we could put $ down and come back tomorrow to do the paperwork. Totally understood! We agreed Friday was better for everyone so that is when we came back. Smooth process, no pressure, felt like he was invested in making sure we picked the car we were comfortable with. So excited to join the Subaru family and look forward to our next one! More

Our sales representative Robert Duran was not only knowledgeable but I bought a 2019 Subaru Outback yesterday 12/31/2018. My experience was wonderful! Our sales representative Robert Duran was not only knowledgeable but very accommodating. We had arrived late around 5:00 PM and he took us on several test drives. All of our questions were answered and we never felt pressured or rushed. The manager Ted is awesome! We explained what we wanted and needed and he made it happen without stress or pressure. The entire staff was smiling and very courteous. The financing manager is also a gem. She explained everything, provided options and did not pressure at all. Our experience was wonderful! Not only did we get the car we wanted with the price we needed but were treated like true VIPs. Subaru is a fabulous car that sells itself but the Don Mealey staff made the experience very pleasurable! I highly recommend if you are seeking a new vehicle stop by and speak with Robert Duran. More

Mom didn’t tell me that I had family on West Colonial Drive! Where do I begin? I was in the market for a 2019 WRX limited, with a specific configuration not typically stocked at dealers (from what my research u Where do I begin? I was in the market for a 2019 WRX limited, with a specific configuration not typically stocked at dealers (from what my research uncovered). I emailed what i was looking for and almost immediately received a response from David Roman, the price was below Base MSRP and was one that I couldn’t pass up (even knowing that it had to be ordered). I set up a test drive appointment and when i arrived I was greeted by Robert who was very helpful and went and located David for me.. David “tagged” Robert in and before you know it i was sitting in the car ready to give it a spin. As I sit waiting to put down a deposit and wait for the car, Robert comes back and tells me that they located a car with my specific accessories and a FEW more that i wasn’t necessarily looking for but found functional. The price slightly went up and was still below MSRP for a BASE model..... How could i say no, never look a gift horse in the mouth.....The car was located in Miami so its just “down the road”. I give the deal a green light and here’s where Jon comes in. comes in.... Jon made the paperwork process easy and painless and also offered me valuable packagaes for a fraction of their value.... Did i mention i felt like i was talking to my brother through out the paperwork process... Needless to say that my experience with the dealership as a whole was fantastic.. When they say welcome to the family you really have joined a family... i would HIGHLY recommend anyone in the market for a Subaru or Mitsubishi take the drive down to Don Mealy South, you won’t be disappointed... And don’t forget to ask for Robert, he will take care of you!!! More

He was extremely personable, down to earth and helpful and really worked hard to get me the car I had been searching for, for days! He answered all my questions and really made my car buying experience a great one. I would definitely recommend this dealership, and would definitely send my friends and family to Robert any day of the week!! Muchas Gracias, Robert. I also dealt with Will Martinez, who worked to get me a lower APR rate after most of the negotiations were done!! These gentleman made me feel welcome and comfortable the entire day and I can't thank them enough!!!! More

Best Experience I have Had At A Dealer. The story starts now Ok, so here's the deal. I have had Nissans for a very long time and I was about to jump into another Nissan Altima 19' when I returned from my trip Ok, so here's the deal. I have had Nissans for a very long time and I was about to jump into another Nissan Altima 19' when I returned from my trip to Oregon in October. But while I was there I saw these amazing little vehicles created by Subaru. So before jumping into another Nissan I just had to go check out these Crosstreks that I kept seeing everywhere in Portland. From the moment I stepped on the lot I felt at ease wandering around, and even though I loved this freedom to wander I thought "Where are all the sales sharks?" They are usually swarming in heards by this time. And I absolutely loved that they were not. The first person I encountered was Liz and she politely asked if I had been helped. I told her no and she took me under her wing as soon as she finished what she was in route to do (which did not take long) She is not in sales, but she said she would bring me to someone that could help. I let her know that I didn't want a tighten your tie, and let me sell you your own leg guy. And she said she had the perfect fit. When we walked in she handed me polity off to the man "Robert Duran" ...(Pausing for the applause to end) Ok, so this guy, he's not pushy. He's very laid back, and the type you can chat with while going on a test drive without it being that awkward so what do you think about the weather type of conversation. He listened to my needs, understood what I had to offer and that if this wasn't the time because the pricing was off for me, then he understood that it wasn't the time. But he assured me that this was the time and he would take care of me. Which he did :) At first I was looking at the Crosstrek, Day 1 of our meeting and we were going forward with me jumping into a shiny new red sleigh. But I had to come back the next day so they could evaluate my car for a trade in. Robert was also going to get that red car out that night so I could look at that specific one when I came back On that day 1, back home, a friend had mentioned the Forester and asked why I didn't go for that one. So I said hmmmmm haven't heard of that one, and started to research that one that night. Day 2, I went back to test drive the shiny red sleigh that I was going to choose, and asked him if I could see the Forester as well. So I drove the red Crosstrek first and I liked it alot. Enough to make me change vehicles from what I have known for some time now. But then he pulled out the 2nd test drive. That is where I met the Forester. As soon as I sat in the car I just loved everything about it, the look the fell, how I just sank perfectly in the seat. Oh and this moonroof is like everything I have ever wanted in an opening in the roof of my car. I looked at Robert and said, I think this is my car. He smiled and said lets take it for a ride. As we were riding I asked him if it was difficult to change from the process of getting the Crosstrek to getting this car. He said not at all :) From their on out it became paperwork really, crunching numbers and finding a happy medium. During this time I met Ted Pappas, who gave me a run for the money with his puppy dog eyes when I was trying to use my own to get what I wanted, ha. Then it came around full circle with Liz at the end who finalized the deal. I can tell you that the last few days with this car have made me smile so much. Literally. I was leaving Target tonight and saw my car and my face just lit up. I am so happy with this vehicle so far and am even happier with the experience that I had with this process. Robert Durran is an amazing person to have on this team. And from meeting Liz and Ted as well, it makes it seem like more of a family experience rather than a sale of any kind. Robert was outside as we drove up, greeted us warmly and went with us on the test drive, answering all our questions without pushing an agenda. We didn't need a car, but we're looking to trade our current 2016 Hyundai Tucson Ltd and were looking at leasing options. Robert and Ted worked with us for over an hour running the numbers to find the right math...we just signed the paperwork and can't wait to get on the road to adventures. Thanks Robert! More
