Excellent buying experience. My shopping experience began at a competing dealership. After several days of being given the run around, I was told that my vehicle was ready and th My shopping experience began at a competing dealership. After several days of being given the run around, I was told that my vehicle was ready and the deal was approved. I arrived to take delivery and learned that I was misled and an attempt was made to force me to take possession of a vehicle without the features agreed upon and in a different (undesirable) color. I rejected that "deal" and left very angry about being treated so poorly and lied to. I immediately called Toyota of Louisville and connected with Tim. He was attentive, knowledgable, respectful and thorough. He located exactly the vehicle that I wanted. When I explained the deal struck with the other dealership, Tim reviewed the figures and pointed out errors they made. He then beat the other dealer's terms with no unnecessary haggling. I took delivery within about 2 hours of calling and meeting Tim. My experience with Toyota of Louisville, Tim and Mr. Swope (the GM) was second to none. They have earned my business and I will refer friends and family there in the future. Glen did a super job of edcuating me about the different Avalon models and all the safety, tech and navigation features of each. Glen was so patient, lettting me test drive three cars so I could experience all the various upgrades, though not one car on the dealer lot that day had everything I wanted. I was very lucky to have Richard Swope make Glen and I aware that they would be getting in a fully loaded 2016 Avalon Hybrid within the week, so I had the option to wait 2 days and really get everything I hoped for in my new car. Bob Garr, handled all my sales paperwork and made quick work of getting me out the door without delay. I picked it up my new Avalon today and I was not disppointed!!!! It had been fully detailed and serviced when I arrived. Glen let me test drive it and explained all the features thoroughly. I am a person who previously hated buying a car, but everyone at Toyota of Louisville truly went out of their way to deliver a superior product and service from start to finish. It was a very pleasant, no pressure, experience. I would highly recommend Toyota of Louisville, and particularly Glen Harder! More
