Hi Daniel, Unfortunately your Sales Consultant, Ray, was on vacation when your car arrived over the weekend which is why you did not get a phone call from him. Prior to him leaving, we stayed up to date providing you any timeframe that Toyota provided to us for your vehicle, including speaking to our Internet Department who gave you ETA ranges as well. Sunday, we experienced immense flooding along with our surrounding towns and there was no notice to prepare for it all. We got staff to the dealership as quick as possible and moved cars to safety that were not in flood waters already at that point. I am so sorry your vehicle was not salvageable but it was beyond our control at that point. Once we got back at the dealership Tuesday to assess damages and vehicles lost, Ray immediately contacted you to let you know yours was a part of the loss. Rather than selling you a flooded car, we were honest with you and told you we would not sell it to you being in that condition. I am hoping you are understanding of the losses that took place this weekend both at our dealership and with many other places in the area. Daniel, Ray was on vacation Monday - Saturday last week so if you spoke to him on Tuesday I am surprised he answered while on vacation. I am sorry he didn't call you in the morning as promised however again, he was on vacation. The ETA timelines given to you, are ones given to us by Toyota, we do not make them up nor control them. Apologies - I thought you meant he spoke to you last Tuesday while he was on vacation. If it was yesterday, please understand that we were closed Monday as roads were closed and deemed unsafe. Yesterday our main focus was bringing back cars to the dealership that we were able to move out of harm's way on Sunday and then trying to assess which cars that were not moved, were damaged which is probably why it took so long for Ray to get back to you. We have a large inventory so it's not something that is quickly able to be gone through. No one has lied to you and Daniel, all I can say is I apologize your Corolla was damaged in the flood but congratulations on your new vehicle and I'm glad you found something.

Ray told me 2 incorrect ETA dates and I had to call him Tuesday at 11:30am even though he said he would call me in the morning. Stop lying.

Ray was on vacation yesterday? You are not making any sense. I would think a competent organization would have let me know on Saturday the vehicle was at the dealership. Like maybe someone can cover for a person while they are out. I have laid out my concerns. I am glad to be done with you as I just purchased a car from people who were helpful and straight forward.
