I walked into the Wantagh Mazda Dealer at 8:30 PM when they were due to close at 9PM on a Thursday night in search of a valuable lease. I had been shopping for a new car for some 3+ months and had not yet visited the Mazda dealer. I was greeted by a salesman, Philip Puleo, who was so friendly, courteous and more than willing to make me happy, even if it meant staying later than scheduled at work. I was working on a deal with Philip and told him I would return the next day to test drive a 2011 Mazda 3. When I arrived the following morning I was again greeted by Philip who had the same smile and friendliness he had shown me the night before. I left the dealership in a brand new 2011 Mazda 3 Sport which had more features than you could imagine at a price I could afford. I will never shop anywhere else or at any other dealer because Wantagh Mazda and especially Philip Puleo, showed me the courtesy I deserved and treated me like a human being rather than just another sale. Kudos to Philip pand to the dealership. A Job well done!!!! I will refer anyone I know seeking a new car to them. Such a pleasant and enjoyable experience!!!! Laura-Jean Hesse More

I recently purchased a new Mazda5 from Wantagh Mazda. I live in Brooklyn and didn't own a car prior to my purchase so had to do a lot of ground work on the phone. After numerous conversations with Mazda dealers in the area, all replete with the usual car sales tactics that leave you wary, I contacted Phil. I found his demeanor to be straight forward and trustworthy. He provided a sales quote over the phone - something other dealers are reluctant to discuss - and he assured me that the sales quote wouldn't include hidden fees and that the quote wouldn't change once I showed up in person. I decided to make the trip out to Wantagh, and while I was still expecting the usual car sales tactics once I arrived, I was very pleasantly surprised with my experience. After a test drive, we discussed the quote he had given me and everything was as he had said on the phone. We agreed on a price, which I knew to be competitive after extensive sales research, and he committed to having the exact car I requested, complete with a few added features a few days later The car was delivered on time and exactly as I had requested with absolutely no hiccups. Danny, who handles financing, even managed to get me an interest rate lower than what I had negotiated with my bank. I kept waiting for something to go wrong, but everything went as well as I could have hoped. In summary, despite my initial worries about the whole car buying experience, I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Wantagh Mazda and would recommend them without reservation to anyone, particularly anyone in the NYC area who is also wary of the sleazy tactics typical of local dealers. The dealership's customer service is truly superb. More
