First off I was very happy with my salesman. Everything went smooth or so I thought, until the paper signing when I found out that I was being financed through Huntington Bank at almost 11% inte Everything went smooth or so I thought, until the paper signing when I found out that I was being financed through Huntington Bank at almost 11% interest. I arrived with a pre-qualified letter from Capital One and gave it to them before even looking at new cars. I was told that Huntington had the best rate that Capital One was just a little bit higher. I finished signing the papers and went home and called Capital One only to find out that my interest rate was 7.8% through them. I don't understand how I could go in with a pre-qualification letter from Capital One and have it switched to Huntington without even me being told. I was told that their system did not show a 7.8% interest rate. That may be so but everyone should pay attention to where the loan is going to. More
