The process of turning in the leased Lexus, signing the finance documents, and taking possession of the new leased Lexus seemed disjointed. The car looked like it had been 'rushed' to be prepped. I apprec finance documents, and taking possession of the new leased Lexus seemed disjointed. The car looked like it had been 'rushed' to be prepped. I appreciate Nicholas Ensey taking the time to help me set up certain settings in the car. After that I didn't see him again for awhile and we waited. I finally introduced myself to a finance manager (Dayron) and asked if he would assist me. He got my file and helped me. I don't think the process should have taken 2 hours. In the future if a sales person has a day off it is probably best not to have the customer come in on that day unless someone else will take the lead and ensure that the customer doesn't sit around waiting. We ordered the vehicle via the phone from out of state. When it arrived we were then pressured to quickly wrap up financing essentially by being told either we take their financing (which was much higher) When it arrived we were then pressured to quickly wrap up financing essentially by being told either we take their financing (which was much higher) or risk them selling our car out from under us because they didn't want to wait five days for me to get my bank involved. Then, after going with their higher rate, i was then being pushed to take extra warranties. I stated i did not want them and was told i "had" to take them. I asked for them to provide a written letter on their letterhead with the explanation as to why and only when i pushed for this did they back off and tell me they weren't going to have me take this. I have purchased over 20 vehicles in my life and dealt with at least 8-9 different dealerships. Never have i felt as strong armed or pushed as much as i was on this one. Because this was a hard vehicle to find and very limited right now, they had the upper hand and used it as much as they could. More
