You initially worked with our internet team when setting your appointment, and then met with just one salesperson, our finance manager for your paperwork, and our sales manager who stepped in to help get you the best possible deal. We did not run your credit or submit it to any lenders prior to your arrival. Once we did, the bank provided the final terms based on their own approval—not us—and that determined your actual payment. The payment calculator on our website is just a tool meant to give shoppers a general idea based on average rates—it’s not a guarantee of financing terms. We understand you were hoping to be at $200/month with no down payment, and our team worked hard to get you as close to that number as possible—even discounting the vehicle to try and help. With how strongly you felt about the experience, it’s a bit surprising that you accepted all of the complimentary items we offered—like the coffee mug, air fresheners, and tote bag. We even sent you a second key after the sale at no cost to you. The test drive route you went on is one we offer to all guests. It includes both city and highway driving so you can get a full feel for how the vehicle handles in different situations. Many dealerships do this to ensure consistency.
