Mr. Mills, I appreciate your attempt to rectify the circumstances of my vehicle purchase. I want to take a moments to give you my thoughts if I were you or a partner with Champion. I mean them only from a position of food for thought, reflection, leadership, a commitment to excellence, and PROVING to customers they come before profits. If Aaron came to me and disclosed six discrepancies with a customer that transpired over only two days. My first question to him would be "Are they all true?" He would respond yes because they are. I would then read for myself the review posted by the customer. Of particular concern to me in the review would be number 6 where Aaron flat out told the customer a falsehood by saying the program was required to purchase the vehicle (either unintentionally, meaning he was not familiar with the document about the program or it was intentional meaning he knowingly lied to the customer. Only you and Aaron know that for sure.

Sorry Mike but my response got sent before I was finished? here is the rest: At this point if I were you I would have directed Aaron to discuss with the customer how we, as a dealership, can make it right. Once I learned that the customer was only interested in the vehicle warranty of 60,000 miles at no cost to him. I would have called the customer and explained the warranty was a bit much to ask for at no cost and then present the reduced amount for the warranty as well as the other offers. Once the customer declined all offers. I would have consulted with the other partners at Champion and expressed my desire for a commitment of excellence to customers above profit. I would realize that perhaps the dealership would lose on this one but ultimately win with the customer and future business. After all, the dealership is playing the long game and every once in a while a sell will go belly up. I'm not that concerned about just one sell in 10, 20, or 50 not making money. I'm concerned with the other 9, 19, or 49. At the end of the day, if I were a partner at Champion and I knew that the cost of a warranty could rectify the very negative yet very truthful review I would eat the cost in a second and not let it get posted if I could control it. Mike, I took the time to write this as my intention was to impart something for Champion to take away in a positive manner. Just my thoughts! Disregard if not helpful.
