I had my first experience with Cityside Subaru in October 2012 when I purchased my beautiful 2013 Subaru Legacy. I was very pleased with the sale and working with John Melvin and with the financing transaction with Michael Nelson. I drove away very proud in my new Subaru. Four months later, I was less than 1/4 mile from my home driving m daughter to a church event when we were struck by a vehicle containing persons heavily under the influence of alcohol. My daughter was trapped in the car and required the jaws of lif to extricate her from the vehicle. She sustained a fractured pelvis. I was more fortunate, with only fractured ribs. Both side curtain airbags deployed during the impact. My poor car was totalled, but SAVED OUR LIVES. I am a firm believer that we would have been killed, or much more seriously injured had we been in a smaller or less equipt car. One never really expects something like this to happen to them, especially when they are generally a safe driver, but it certainly can! It can happen a matter of feet from your home. After the dust settled, the shock began to wear off, I decided that I would head right back to Cityside Subaru and replace my Legacy.....with another one. My second transaction was just as smooth as the first, just as much as a pleasure to work with these fine gentlemen. I will always own a Subaru. My loyalties will always remain. More

Made it really easy to decide that this car was for us and this dealership would be the place to buy it. The finance team (Don and Mike) were excellent, they beat a financing rate that AAA had previously pre-approved us for. They clearly explained everything and didn't provide a 'hard sell' at any time. If your looking for a dealership that will work with you City Side is the place to go! More

I had the pleasure of working with Mark Lidano who was a terrific salesperson. He was straightforward and patient which were qualities that enabled me to trust him almost instantaneously. He was very professional and reserved judgment with regard to identifying which of the two car models would be the best one for me so as to allow me to come to the conclusion myself. He allowed me to test drive both models and took me on a route that allowed me to see how the cars drove in both city and highway traffic which I appreciated. The buying process went so smoothly from start to finish that it really took the terror out of the car buying process for me. This was the first time that I purchased a car from a dealership and if this is how smoothly the process can go then CitySide Subaru sets a very high bar for other dealerships. Michael Nelson was extremely organized and made the process of securing a great interest rate for my car loan and the signing of the paperwork a breeze. Robert Krasow was attentive as well and responded to my initial email in a timely manner. He helped to remove my City of Boston parking sticker from my trade in vehicle and did a great job of maintaining the integrity of sticker. Through every phase of the car-buying process, Peter treated us with respect and care. After weeks of research , a ton of emails, and one After weeks of research , a ton of emails, and one prolonged 'discussion' at another dealership (where the salesman would take our counteroffers/que After weeks of research , a ton of emails, and one prolonged 'discussion' at another dealership (where the salesman would take our counteroffers/questions in to some phantom sales manager's office only to return with yet another counter counter-offer), we narrowed down our choices to two dealerships to purchase a Subaru Outback for my wife. One was in NH, the other was Cityside. Both were winnowed from research done through Consumer Reports online "Build & Buy" program (highly recommend). Edmonds has a similar service which is also very good. Long story short, we never made it to NH and bought an Outback Premium within a half hour of arrival. The negotiations were relaxed and, more importantly, face to face with Rob Krasow and Aleksey. Michael and Nelson were also low key and helpful as initial, and then final, paperwork was completed. We had a trade in, and perhaps could have made more money on it, especially through a private sale, but to avoid the hassle of the latter and because Cityside's offer was justifiably fair (plus the equally fair price on the Outback itself), we felt it was an overall good deal for us. Pickup was uneventful, and Aleksey spent approximately an hour with us going over key sections of the various manuals, and in the car itself to highlight its principal features. Overall, it was as pleasant and uneventful a car purchase as one could hope for, and we would highly recommend Cityside. More
