I always feel like the service writers have my best interest in mind. Checking to see if there any recalls or new bulletins on my vehicle to save me time later. interest in mind. Checking to see if there any recalls or new bulletins on my vehicle to save me time later. More

In early october i took my vehicle in for service which finished up in a few days, great. I go to pick it up and you guys run it through the carwash and in the process crash it into a concrete bollard dama finished up in a few days, great. I go to pick it up and you guys run it through the carwash and in the process crash it into a concrete bollard damaging the front bumper and passenger side front quarter panel. Its at this point where things went sideways. As directed i took it over to the collision center where they looked the damage over, took pictures, and said they would request appro al to do the work and be back in touch within a couple days. A week passes and ive heard nothing so i call in; uh sorry still waiting on approval ill be back in tough soon. Several more days pass and i get a call; ok we're approved to move forward lets get you on the schedule. Ok sounds good when can we get it in? Sometime in 4-6 weeks. Ok makes sense considering you'll have to order parts and what not so we settle on the week after thanksgiving. I go drop off the truck and get a loaner car. Truck should be done by friday ok sounds good. The loaner i received was not a truck when i was told i would get a truck considering you damaged mine. Instead i got an equinox. I wasnt happy about it but made it work. Prior to leaving i was informed to return the loaner with a full tank of gas and when i get in it it's only at 5/8 of a tank. So i call in and inform them its only at 5/8. Back to the repair friday comes around i havent heard anything to the point so i call in; sorry running behind ut will be done monday. Monday comes still dont hear anything so i call in later in the day sorry still not done ill call you first thing tuesday morning. Tuesday morning comes and goes no call so i call in in the afternoon, oh yep it's done come pick it up. I go pick it up and look it over and while the repairs generally look ok you can see touch up paint marks. So i inquire and it turns out none of the parts were replaced and spot painting was done to touch up. So 4-6 weeks to get on the schedule, when no parts were needed. This whole process was one of the worst experiences ive had in the automotive industry. While i appreciate you fixing your damages at no cost to me the coomunication was miserable at best, i was given no sense of priority, and the length of time to reconcile the issue(two months) was unnaxceptable especially considering no parts were replaced.
