I brought my truck in because it has a grinding noise coming from the front end. These trucks are known to have IWE defects, and the noise typically happens when the temperature drops below 30 degrees. T coming from the front end. The truck was in their service department for several days, and they told me they could not replicate the problem. Their solution was to tell me to buy new tires and then try again. This truck has also been eating the front tires, so when you combine excessive tire wear with a grinding noise, it is clear something is going on with the front end. Keep in mind, I purchased this truck for over $100,000 from this dealership, and at the time I also felt like I was taken advantage of on the interest rate because it was a rare truck I had ordered. Overall, it feels like this dealership cares more about sales and profitability than taking care of their customers after the sale. I believe they did a poor job troubleshooting a known issue instead of working toward a real solution. I was also in discussions about trading in this truck along with my wife’s vehicle and purchasing two new vehicles from them. After this experience, I am no longer certain I would buy from this dealership again. More
