I was referred to Mr Dar by a Friend of mine and client of his as well where he spoke highly of Mr Dar and his ability to find the car you are looking for not what other salesmen think you want I can not think him enough for making our journey from CT to LI an easy and successful one. My sister leased a 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross LE AWD from this dealership on June 19th and I regret having her go here. We negotiated a sales price of $32,250, but when it came time to sign, Finance Manager this dealership on June 19th and I regret having her go here. We negotiated a sales price of $32,250, but when it came time to sign, Finance Manager Marluin Reyes handed us a lease agreement showing $33,168.55. I caught the inflated number and had to insist it be corrected — which already made me uneasy. Then came the real kicker: they applied a money factor of 0.00434, when Toyota Financial’s rate was 0.00334. That 0.001 markup translates to ~2.4% in hidden APR, adding over $3,000 in extra cost over the lease. This was never disclosed — and when I returned within 24 hours to request a renegotiation, they refused. Their "make-good"? A year of free car washes. We had already gotten the “diamond package” That doesn't come close to covering the cost of the markup they quietly baked in. The Floor Manager James rambled some non sense for the sales price difference, it’s crazy to me how greedy dealerships are. The rent charge is the price of financing the over the lease term and based on the money factor it was $8,828, which is excessive. I knew it too and asked about it and it was brushed over by the Finance Manager, who stated that the money factor was the 0.00334 that she was offered but it wasn’t. After 7+ hours at the dealership I was not on my A game. The cap cost was inflated with hidden fees that weren’t broken down clearly. Their sticker prices are marked up above MSRP, which makes their “discounted” deals look better than they are. Seriously feel she overpaid and should have walked out. Had they not marked up the money factor it would have been close to $100 dollars less a month. This was my first and last visit to this dealership. They’ve lost my trust and the business of my family and friends, and it’ll be the last time I allow anyone that I know from signing anything before getting full disclosures and numbers. If you’re shopping here Know what you’re willing to pay for the vehicle. Know the current buy rate from the leasing company. Don’t let them tell you your credit tier is below and you don’t qualify for a lower rate. Ask for every number to be disclosed upfront. Watch for the money factor disguised as the “rent charge” — it’s one of the easiest places for dealers to hide profit. I wanted a transparent and fair deal. What I got was the opposite. More
