First Class Service Dept. Dishonorable Sales Dept. Maria in the service dept. has always given me FIRST CLASS SERVICE, even when my BMW 750i was taken off the road for several months while they had an Maria in the service dept. has always given me FIRST CLASS SERVICE, even when my BMW 750i was taken off the road for several months while they had an intercooler recall. When I got the vehicle from BMW Sarasota the vehicle had 8326 miles on it from the owner but was leased to me "exactly the same a brand new one, with all the same warranties" That included 3 years 36,000 Ultimate Care for all scheduled maintenance. I even agreed to pay additional warranty as I expected to put 45K miles on her and that was supposed to ensure there was never "any" service cost except tires. Now 32 months later and I have put under 28,000 miles on it, I was told they want $900 to change the oil and rear brake pads! Maria fought for me with Emilio Torres (General Sale Manager who I had bought the vehicle from) however received the offer that "if I would commit to buying a new car from him and give him a deposit, they would take care of the service" THATS EXTOROTION, instead of them living up to their word, and I turned down the services. Maria however persevered, and again fought my corner with the management and the dealer finally did the work as "good will" THANK YOU SO MUCH MARIA and whoever approved this, but if anyone reading this is looking to buy a loaner or demo as new, be very careful what the sales dept. promise you as they are not true to their word. Obviously this experience from first class service to no service at all will influence my next vehicle purchase. More
