I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned M440ix convertible from this dealer back in May. Since my ownership, I have loved the car. However, my sales experience, financing experience, service experience, and follow this dealer back in May. Since my ownership, I have loved the car. However, my sales experience, financing experience, service experience, and follow-up experience after the fact has been nothing short of a disaster. When I bought my car I noticed that it did not come with floor mats or the wind deflector for the convertible. The salesman Randy was great. I want to make that clear. He got me the floor mats the day of. Everything else that went wrong thereafter was not Randy’s fault. Still, this dealership has the WORST communication of any dealer I’ve ever dealt with. For one the finance guy, Shady (yes that was his name) messed up the paperwork. He listed the wrong bank as the lien holder, which made my bank not too happy. It took them 4 months to fix it, and re-issue the registration. When I initially got the car, there was a continuous beeping from under the dashboard. It turned out to be their crappy third party GPS tracking system, that I asked them to remove, but they didn’t. So I had to remove it myself. It took continuous follow up for 4 months to get me the wind deflector that was supposed to come with the car. Of which during that time they wouldn’t just give me one, but rather insisted on reaching out to the previous owner to get it from them. When that failed, they did get me a used wind deflector. However, they got me the wrong one and it doesn’t fit my car. That alone gets them the 1 star review. However, the final thing that would get them 0 starts if I could give it would be the service from the dealership. I’m used to Volkswagen service, and VW dealers aren’t exactly known to have great service departments. Still, at least they would listen to most of my questions comments and concerns, and would try to address them. My issues with the car were fairly simple, but rather than aligning with me or even trying to do anything about them, my concerns were dismissed as “user error,” and they wanted to set me up with a BMW Genius to show me how to use the features that were in fact broken/not working. I will NEVER return to this horrible dealer. Instead, I’ll go to BMW Carlsbad. Bottom Line I love the car. But the experience with every single department at BMW of El Cajon has shown that this dealership is incompetent at every single thing. For better service go to BMW Carlsbad. More

I spent at least a year researching cars and thinking about trading in my Toyota RAV4. A BMW X3 was at the top of my list, and as soon as I saw it in person I knew it was the car for me. I couldn't be ha about trading in my Toyota RAV4. A BMW X3 was at the top of my list, and as soon as I saw it in person I knew it was the car for me. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I worked with Michael Rush in sales who made the entire experience exciting, enjoyable, and easy. I highly recommend purchasing from Michael at BMW of El Cajon! Jordan in finance was also great. More
