‼️Buyer Beware‼️ I’m writing this review to warn other buyers about a very deceptive practice at VW of North Tampa. I purchased a truck from this dealership and was charged almost $4,000 for two warran buyers about a very deceptive practice at VW of North Tampa. I purchased a truck from this dealership and was charged almost $4,000 for two warranties, which were listed on my paperwork as “accessories.” I repeatedly asked multiple times if these warranties could be removed. Each time, I was told they came with the vehicle and could not be taken off. I went forward with the purchase because I genuinely love the truck and I still do, but something didn’t feel right. I contacted the warranty companies directly, and they informed me that the warranties actually come with the vehicle for free and that there should have been no cost at all. I immediately contacted the dealership. Over the past two months, I have been run around nonstop, despite being told over the phone, via email, and through text messages that the warranties would be canceled and the money refunded to my lender. As of today, that has not happened. Because of this, I have filed formal complaints with: • The Attorney General • The Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (Dealer Compliance) I have also attached a photo of my proposal so others can see how the warranties were misrepresented as “accessories.” Please be very careful when reviewing your paperwork here. Ask questions, read everything line by line, and do not assume anything “comes with the car.” Learn from my experience and don’t fall for it. More

The purchase was easy and took no time with the finance manager. The sales lady Loyola was not aware of the vehicle's features and had to get someone else to come out and even raise the hood. The vehicle came with one key and I was told there were two keys. After a week or so they said they could not find the other key. I was told they would give me key insurance to make up for the lost key. I called seven times with no response from anyone. Finally, the sales manager Michael called me and said he would call me back by the end of business on how to proceed, and of course, he never called me back. I called sales manager Michael back three times with no callback. So we have a 60k car with one key and have to pay 500 dollars for a new key. These people are straight-up liars and even worse they ignore you and your needs. We were promised a second key by the sales lady, sales manager and we never got a key or even the courtesy of a call back to let us know why. Avoid this place, they will lie to you and not do what they say. There are too many honest auto sales out there to deal with people like this. They have lost my business forever and I would never recommend them to anyone. When you tell someone something you need to follow through, and this is not their philosophy. I told them that if they didn't live up to their promise I would write a bad review and I guess they don't care. You would think a 500 key would be money well spent instead of a poor review. All they needed to do was make good on their promise and deliver a second key. Please avoid these liars and find a dealership that lives up to what they say. Good luck out there. More
