So overall the experience was very good. Buying a car is just a stressful experience and it really should not be. Edge-of-tread tire puncture required tire replacement. Options reviewed. Decision to replace with a "shaved" new tire (would have taken 2-3 days) reversed upon closer examination of tread wear; purchased Options reviewed. Decision to replace with a "shaved" new tire (would have taken 2-3 days) reversed upon closer examination of tread wear; purchased new tire from inventory on hand for much better price than Carr Subaru (closer to home, but ~inferior service and price).
