Dealership is welcoming and friendly. Sales person was waiting for us right at the door for our appointment. We had asked for a test drive in a Niro electric. The car was ready for us. The only bump in the road was an overly pushy finance person who really wanted us to buy one of 4 or 5 levels of added warranty. All the research I've read on these added warranty or service products say they are not worth it. When we picked up vehicle we had about an hour long tutorial on all the basic operations plus the bells and whistles of this feature-loaded EV. This was very helpful, if a bit overwhelming. She followed up with a call a few days later just to se if we had more questions. One other disappointment - we asked both the sales person and the "tech tutor" if they could give us contact info for an electrician to install a charger in our garage. They both looked totally blank at this. Since any EV buyer with a garage or carport will want a charger it is info widely needed, AND a day or so after this, a relative reminded me that the local utility (Duke Progress Energy) has been running a charging installatioon program which included both providing the electrician AND a credit of up > $1,000. How did the dealership NOT know about this??? More
