

I have been a part of the Crown family since 1993, but I entered into the auto industry in 1990. I moved to Florida from New York in 1980. I have 2 beautiful children; Zachary, 8 and Mikayla, 5. In my free time I enjoy fishing, running, camping, working out, and the beach!

I say that confidently as he’s been handling my appointments for over a decade now and I’m on my third RDX. This time I brought in my RDX to John during the week leading up to the Memorial Day weekend for a pre-road trip maintenance check and oil service. John was wonderful about fitting me into a busy schedule and expediting the process from the moment he greeted me. He’s consistently thorough and professional as well as genuinely helpful and engaging. And all that paid off when right from start he and the service technician noticed my RDX was missing a piece of trim along the roofline. As my RDX is new, it seems there may have been a loose latching mechanism from the factory. Knowing I was leaving on a trip in a few days, John immediately put in an order for the replacement trim. Meanwhile, John wasted no time in getting my RDX serviced and amazingly had me on my way in just over an hour. I couldn’t be more pleased. Always dependable, John contacted me the next afternoon to arrange bringing my RDX back in to have the new trim piece installed. John was super organized and upon arrival the second time that week had everything set up to attach the trim piece. I’m so grateful to John and the service technician for all they did to ensure my RDX was in perfect condition for my extended travel plans over the Memorial Day holiday. I’m happy to say my RDX ran beautifully the whole trip. You’re fantastic, John…THANK YOU!! More

I’ve been working with John Shaw for years, well after my car’s warranty expired. Working with John and Chris (the mechanic) is such a pleasant experience that I starting being my Honda to them for service i car’s warranty expired. John has always conveyed very clearly repairs that need immediate attention and other work that can be pushed down the road a bit. He always does his best to work around my schedule and does what he can to make the process as simple and convenient as possible. More

John Shaw of Crown Acura is a valued team member who consults with customers to take care of their needs. Instead of overselling me, he found a bulb that would work in tail light since the actual part consults with customers to take care of their needs. Instead of overselling me, he found a bulb that would work in tail light since the actual part was not in stock and he didn’t even charge me for the part. He consulted with me on the $750 headlight repair, and since the car is my spare beach car not normally used at night and my bright lights worked, we agreed it wasn’t worth the repair cost. Then he was able to help me enter the radio code too. What a great service experience! Crown Acura cares about their customers! More
