This dealer has a 2/5 rating and that is too high. I scheduled an appointment for 7:45 am on 3 April 2025 many weeks in advance for RECALLS. When dropping car off I stated, "please fix all recalls". I scheduled an appointment for 7:45 am on 3 April 2025 many weeks in advance for RECALLS. When dropping car off I stated, "please fix all recalls". There was a diagnostic error on my dash, and I asked them to look into it, they focused only on the $2000 diagnostic repair (which my regular mechanic can do), but did not do the recall repairs on the axle. On Thursday afternoon, they called me about the diagnostics. For a 7:45 am appointment this call was many hours late. I approved a $2000 repair for the diagnostics, but no mention of any recalls took place. I never received a call on Friday to state my car was ready. On Saturday I CALLED the dealer, but no person could tell me where my car was or point me to a leader which could address these questions. I drive Lyft and Uber, and this was 3 days that Kings Ford had my car while I was losing income. I went to dealer and picked up car on Sunday- my fourth day without income. On Monday, their services manager threatened legal action against me for taking car off lot without his authorization. They do not care about people, only profits. They do not exhibit OneFord values or behave with any level of integrity, ethics, or customer service. Avoid this dealer and all others at Kings. I have not met a single person at Kings Ford which I would do business with again. Kings also shared my personally identifiable information without my consent to salespeople. In addition, I emailed a services manager and have received no response. More

I have a Ford F-150 3. 5L Ecoboost and in 2022 the vehicle was brought in and needed new timing chain and phasers. $3k cost to replace. Their warranty is 2 years and unlimi 5L Ecoboost and in 2022 the vehicle was brought in and needed new timing chain and phasers. $3k cost to replace. Their warranty is 2 years and unlimited miles. I am at 2 years and 2 months (25,000 miles more) and they are telling me the exact same issue has occurred and needs to be replaced again (now $3.3k quote). Ford design is expected for the lift of the vehicle, though they do say some will need the replacement. Current Ford survey has it at about 30% needing the fix, yet I am now at twice in 2 years. The replacement parts are also suppose to fix the issue, so either they were not used with my original repair or not done correctly. Kings Ford has been less than helpful, saying the repair is 2 months out of warranty despite being on a fraction of the expected life of the replacement parts, and insisting I paid for the exact same service again. I find this to be extremely unjust and unethical. I do not recommend this dealership as this is now the second issue I've had with them (the first being a brake inspection that I was told was good, then 2 months later they said I need to replace pads and rotors and way past due. They clearly never did a proper inspection). More

BEWARE OF DOOR DINGS! - Recall completed quickly but.... This is my 2nd vehicle that got its first DOOR DING while in the Service Department at Kings Ford located in Kings Auto Mall. Both vehicles were brought in for a Ford recall. Very disappointing, to say the least. The first time ( 6 Month old 2021 F150)Kings said they did not think it happened at the Dealership( I insisted it did) They called me back after reviewing the video surveillance "It happened here we apologize and will get it repaired. They said it has to go one place for the dent/ding wizard and another for paint. I'm not a fan of painting the body panel on a new car. Not to mention, it would end up back and forth on the Kings Ford lot again packed in like a sardine. I told them to just get me a bottle of touch up paint. They called and informed me it was in at the Dealership, I asked them to mail it to me. They said “No can’t do that” it is hazardous material and I will have to come in to get it. Don’t understand why they did not even offer run it to my house 10min. away. Today I picked up my other car (2021 Ford Explorer ST) after having a safety recall and it now has its first door ding. Very disappointing, I'm waiting for Kings to call me. It did not break the paint film this time and they have a dint wizard on ground at the Auto Mall. I’m still not a fan I had this done on a new car once and the widow had visible scratches from the dent wizard's tools. Waiting for a call from Kings about my options. More

Kings Ford replaced a brake booster on my 2018 Explorer. There was nothing wrong with the booster. The original issue was what I perceived as a loose break pedal. Have attempted to contact the service Manager. Matt Huber but to no avail. I have tried in person and over the phone. Have left voice messages. He won't return my calls and is always out of the office, gone for the day, or on a call. Here's the real kicker! I went to check my brake fluid and the booster is loose. Yes, loose. It flops around. I called to have them fix what they screwed up and said they could get me in a week from now. I said this is a potential safety issue. They don't care. I guess they have enough business to not care about cars they screw up or misdiagnose. More

I took my truck in after an oil change, due to a service light being on. They took me right away, and said it was a calibration issue. Two days later, I am traveling to West Virginia in the mountains and t light being on. They took me right away, and said it was a calibration issue. Two days later, I am traveling to West Virginia in the mountains and the same light came on plus the service exhaust filter is full. I had to schedule an appointment to Ford in Beckley and they said there was three issues found with the same calibration light. I fixed my truck there and paid them an additional amount to check the same light finding the issues Kings Ford didn't find? So I had two service check fees vs., one. I'll find a different Ford location forward. More
