Too many problematic issues occurred outside of what I brought the car in for to rate higher. Brought car in for rear brakes, and switch button to start the car, and oil change. They came back with other additional work they recommended be done. I agreed to 80% of their recommendations. Brake job was not thoroughly tested for safety. Car rolled when parking brake is engaged. Also braking was way worse than before, as I found that out when I nearly missed having a fwy speed accident because brakes barely worked well enough to stop the car. They said I needed front brakes resurfaced. Did that and was on the fwy after that repair and again the brakes performed even worse and stopping quickly was completely out of question. Car was not test driven before they returning it to me. Weird. Asst. Manager got involved and saw to it that new rotors were provided and installed and the hand brake was properly adjusted. Now got car back, next day the car over heated; radiator damage. Seems strange. Could be a coincidence, retaliation for complaining perhaps? Idk, other places, they diagnose, make a recommendation and car performs great without a chain reaction of other stuff failing across the board warranting more and more cash to get the car running again. That only happens to me when I’ve come to THIS dealership.
I stopped using this service dept years ago because they refused to address and fix reported issues while car was under warranty. But when warranty expired; then all of a sudden they wanted to fix all the issues at my expense…just shady.
These comments are not at all about my Service Consultants. They were excellent! Very kind and professional. My comments are about the phantom technicians/mechanics that performed the repairs poorly. The oil change, hand brake adjustment and sensor replacement work was excellent. Kudos to the techs responsible in those instances. The rest of it; meh…not so much. Ultimately, had to tow the car to Orange Coast Infiniti. Car now runs fantastic!!
