I came to Greenway Kia North because of their advertised construction deals to see if it made sense to trade in my 2023 Seltos for a Sorento that had a third row. I texted with their sales team and requeste construction deals to see if it made sense to trade in my 2023 Seltos for a Sorento that had a third row. I texted with their sales team and requested to view both the prestige and S model of the Sorento in Wolf Grey. They said they’d have them ready upon my arrival. When I arrived I was greeted by Ivana. She walked over to an S model in red, in which i asked her where the two vehicles I was told would be ready for me to view. She told me that she could tell me the difference between the two models and that the color really didn’t matter. I told her that buying a car is a large investment and it absolutely did matter and that I wanted to see the prestige in the requested color. After some back and forth, she finally went to get the prestige in my requested color. We test drove it and my husband and I liked the prestige, but we’re a little unsure if we liked some of the features but we still asked to run the numbers on it. Upon looking at the numbers, Ivana presented me with numbers under KBB value for my trade in, which i pushed back as they were advertising over KBB trade in. She then showed me numbers that were astronomical and made no sense. She told me that I needed to look at their website numbers as 0% APR and they don’t offer that. I asked her to show us numbers for the S model instead since we weren’t a fan of all the prestige features and she kept arguing that it didn’t really matter as there wasn’t much of a price difference (the price difference was about 10-12k lol). After more back and forth, she finally came back crazy numbers again. I told her where I wanted to be (which was reasonable) and she said she’d send a manager over to go over numbers. Another person came over and obviously was not the manager. I asked him if he was and he said no. The numbers he brought were awful and I told him we were good, and to tell Ivana if she says she’s going to send the manager to send the manager and we walked out. By the time we got to the car, Jordan was shortly behind asking what was wrong and what he could do to help close the deal. I informed him of the frustrating experience, that I was aware of where I wanted to be and that it was within reason, and I didn’t have a lot of time as it was my birthday and I had a dinner reservation. He asked me to give him 10 minutes, so I did. Within 10 minutes he came back with numbers that were within reason of what I had originally been asking for with tier 1 financing, equity in my trade in, and no money down. He even got the car pulled up, tag on and told me to come back tomorrow to finalize paperwork so I could get to my dinner reservation on time. We came in the next morning and were swiftly taken to finance, where we did some song and dance, where they tried to change the terms I had agreed on yesterday but by the end of it, I walked out with the pricing and finance terms that I was happy with, including 3% APR (in 2025, which is crazy). While I was in financing, Jordan had the vehicle being detailed and had Ivana go and gas the vehicle up. He told us that she would show us the Kia connect app, but she handed us the keys and asked if we wanted her to show us. We felt the obvious tension so we declined and said we’d set it up on our own. Jordan came out to see us off and asked if we set up the app. We said no, but we would get it done. He said it would only take a minute so he set it up really quick for us! My husband had sugar cane roots in the car that he picked up at the farmers market that morning. He couldn’t find them in the vehicle. We figured that they probably gotten thrown away during detail. Jordan ran back to detail To ask if they saw them. They said they did and knew we’d want them and told him where they put them, but they weren’t there. All three of us turned the car over but couldn’t find them. I’m being cut off due to length so tldr Ivana threw them away & lied lol But thanks Jordan for being great More
