Within 24 hours of purchase, I learned that promotional financing for certified vehicles was in fact available during that period and that, given my 839 credit score, I likely qualified for significantly better terms than the 7.8% loan provided. This information would have materially affected my decision.
I contacted the dealership promptly seeking clarification and a reasonable resolution, but my concerns have not been meaningfully addressed.
Because financing terms can dramatically impact the total cost of a vehicle, customers depend on dealerships to verify and accurately communicate manufacturer programs before contracts are signed. I respectfully request that dealership leadership and Honda corporate review this situation and work toward a fair resolution.

I can be contacted directly at 870-884-0018. I have been a customer of Mclarty Honda since 2020 and this was my second purchase since that time. I had also informed the salesman I planned to buy another car for work after the purchase of my Pilot. I test drove a 2026 HR-V that night before I decided on the Pilot as my first purchase. On 2/14, I by-passed Little Rock and drove all the way to Conway to purchase my 2026 Honda HR-V at Honda World. Mclarty would have been my choice for the purchase of my HR-V had I not encountered that there was in fact a special financing offer for certified vehicles in which my pilot qualified that was not disclosed to me after me asking specifically about special financing for certified. I informed them I had been told in the past, certified vehicles often qualify for special rates and wondered if there were any available as I knew I would qualify with my credit score and it was not offered to me. The difference in interest over the life of the loan is somewhere around $1,523 with the 1.49% for 60 months vs $11,962 at 7.8% for 84 months with the difference in monthly being around $69. The special financing would have been a no-brainer had I not been deceived and led to believe there was not any. That deal begin somewhere around January 9, 2026 and runs until March 2, 2026. I became knowledgeable about it after an add showed up on my Facebook the next day for it. I then verified with the Hondacertified.com website before contacting my salesman questioning why that wasn’t offered to me after I specifically ask Gary Ashford and the man he brought in the room to shake my hand at the beginning before negotiations began. This was also the man in finance that I signed the papers with to finalize everything.
