Went in based on a cars. com posting of a used car. Was contacted promptly and an appointment was made to drive and look at the car. After a test drive and discussion about mo com posting of a used car. Was contacted promptly and an appointment was made to drive and look at the car. After a test drive and discussion about moving forward based upon the advertised price, I was told that because they had done some work to the vehicle prior to our arrival, that the price would actually be $2000 more than advertised ($300 worth of parts and $1700 in labor). The definition of bait and switch. Ultimately, they agreed upon the advertised price but the fact that it was even brought up and discussed blew my mind. I was also surprised to find a $500 service fee that was slipped in there as well. Was it a terrible experience? No. But I’ve consistently had much better experiences at other dealers. More
