Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m sorry to hear that your recent visit did not meet your expectations. While I’m glad our shuttle service was helpful and that the starter concern was ultimately resolved under warranty, I understand your frustration with the communication surrounding the repair process. I would like to clarify that aftermarket electrical components can, in some cases, create issues with vehicle systems or warning lights depending on the part quality and compatibility. However, we certainly never want any explanation to come across as misleading or dismissive, and I apologize if that was your impression during your interaction with our team. Regarding the warranty process, after learning the starter had previously been replaced at another Honda dealership, we absolutely should have handled the communication directly with Lucas Honda and assisted in obtaining the warranty information needed for coverage. I apologize that this was not handled more seamlessly on our end and understand why that added to your frustration. We do appreciate your feedback, as it gives us the opportunity to review how situations like this are communicated and handled moving forward. I’m glad you were ultimately able to get the repair covered and identify the oil leak concern contributing to the failure.
