Mr. Engle, After reviewing your service file I am lead to have a little different opinion of the events surrounding your accident and subsequent repair of your CX-9. The timeliness of the communications appears to be the biggest issue. Our records indicate that Allstate provided an initial estimate for repair using "USED" wheels that they were unable to supply and we were unable to procure. After attempting to do so for several days Allstate wrote a new estimate allowing for "NEW" wheels to be used in the repair. These are not an item that a dealer normally has on had and they had to be ordered from the Mazda parts warehouse. In addition, when the wheels arrived and were installed an alignment was attempted on the vehicle uncovering additional damage to suspension parts. We again had to contact Allstate and get payment authorization prior to proceeding. This could not be avoided as an alignment could not be attempted without wheels and tires on the vehicle. These multiple steps took more time than we would wish but we are only able to move as quickly as authorization permits. We have seperate estimates and payments from Allstate that correspond with my description of the timeline. Your servivce advisor made many notes of phone calls with you in the file as well. He did not call you to give you an update some days due to the fact that you were the first call nearly each morning to our service department and received your status report via your inbound call. As far as Ms. Drescher, we have spoken to her since your review and all is well with her and her Honda that she took in for service at Ed Voyles Honda earlier this month. The issue with her vehicle required manufacturer specific tools/training/diagnostic equipment to address and repair after a second visit. With all of the problems encountered with Jim Ellis Mazda and the attitude and covering up by the people in your service dept.I beleive you can kiss my ever returning to your dealership for any more sales or service .I spent twenty years selling Cadilaacs for Frost Cadilaac in Newton Ma. I never have experienced any attitude from any service employee in my dealership.I can not in good conscience ever return to your dealership for sales or service That is really too bad because I was treated very fairly in your sales dept. and you have a quality product which I enjoy driving.I really can not recommend that any family or friend ever visit your dealerships.I have contacted Allstate who I have been with for 10 years and have never had a problem with them.and the dispute is still on on the facts you have stated and that I understand not to be true as sated by the people working in you your service dept. As was stated to me when I stated in the Car business A HAPPY CUSTOMER IS A REPEAT CUSTOMER! I beleive I proved my loyalty to Jim Ellis Mazda by bringing in my daughterin law to buy a used car. Any way it's all over now and I will have to foind another dealer to buy a car from Snicerelyy Jim Engle
